2010 Week 11 Other Games Thread

Against very weak competition. Isn't this one of the gripes with my ranking methodology?

 

Yeah, I guess that is right. It wasn't a true backdoor cover. It wasn't as if the Colts scored a TD as time expired to lose 31-28.

Of course, you may remember I also picked the Eagles to cover against the Colts.



I cannot stand point spreads anymore. It causes me to root for weird shit too often. Last week I took Buffalo to cover a spread of 3 vs Detroit. The whole freakin' game they had it. Then they let Detroit score a touchdown in the waning moments. Buffalo led 14-12. I then had to root for Detroit to convert the 2-point play. Then I would hope for the Bills to win it in overtime with a field goal or touchdown. I would have settled for a push.
Instead, of course, the Lions did not convert the 2-point play and I lost against the spread by 1 point.

 

Of course both of those teams are alot better than the teams the Jets are squeeking by.

Last night I watched Vick Ballard.

Tonight I see ads for Vick's on the broadcast.

NBC has had some coveted games so far, and it will continue with flex starting.

49ers Chargers also atrocious.
Bears Vikings atrocious, but will be funny to see Peppers shit on Favre.
Panthers Steelers ATROCIOUS.
Cowboys Cardinals utterly atrocious.

 

Giants are in big trouble if Bradshaw is hurt/benched/whatever for the rest of this game.

 

Avant drops the ridiculously easy TD pass, costing the Eagles 4 points.

 

Giants might want to double check if Blackmon was concussed or not on that fumbled punt return.
