runoffs are only if the clock is running. Learn the damn rules. The whole point is to prevent teams from taking penalties on purpose to stop the clock. If the clock is already stopped, there's no such advantage.

Ravens got screwed by the refs in that game. the facemask call on Suggs where Snelling grabbed his the entire time and the push off from roddy white. Oh well. Jets better win this week and take advantage

My God. Listening to Theismann and Millen makes me actually miss vuvuzelas. At least with those buzzing horns you could tune them out. I liked when Theismann said 'He doesn't need a clock in his head he just needs to get rid of the ball in 10 seconds.' Ummm...did you actually think someone was implying he needed an ACTUAL clock in his head. Oh well. The Falcons won and Theismann can home and masterbate himself silly to that Ryan DVD that he was having made and talked about a dozen times during the game.
Switching gears, the NFC is interesting. The Falcons, Giants, Packers and Saints will fight for the #1 seed. And how about the 49ers? They are in a better spot than the Miami Dolphins. Both 2 games out of first, but the 49ers have less competition. It would surprise no one if they win the divison. Of course, they will have to win it at 7-9 at best.
