MrE...how do you like AJ Jefferson out of Fresno St. there for the Saints?

Edit: I know that he probably isn't read now..but do you at least think he has potential with his athleticism?

Jefferson is a hell of a kick returner (All-American)...I'll give him that.

AJ was a terrible corner for the Dogs. Guys like Nick Toon and Mardy Gilyard absolutely destroyed Jefferson early in 2009. He was so bad, that he lost his job to walk-on named Desia Dunn. Dunn is also terrible, so that speaks volumes.

He certainly has the athletic ability to play in the league, but in my opinion, he'll never be anything more than a dime back.

Like I said though, he's a great kick returner, so he'll be a contributor on special teams. Besides CJ Spiller and maybe another undrafted player, Jefferson is probably the best return specialist in the draft.

Fresno State's defensive backs have really taken a step back since the days of Marcus McCauley, Richard Marshall, Tyrone Culver, and James Sanders. We have a lot young, highly touted defensive backs now...so hopefully Fresno will start producing some defensive talent again.

I'm no predictor of the future, but I'll go out on a limb and say that Mr. E predicts incredible greatness from him. Like Night Train Lane, but better. Deion Sanders with more speed, Rod Woodson with a better football IQ, Darrelle Revis with more swag. Something like that.

Yeah my thinking behind that was since Bush's future is uncertain in New Orleans he can at least contribute as a returner/STer if he can't contribute at corner.

Actually, I considered giving Patrick Robinson his name old name back...

    Toast Jefferson it is.

Ehh, I'll call both of them by that name.

I'm glad D'Anthony Smith fell to me (San Diego) in round 4. He was one of the last 3-4 d-linemen types that I liked on the board. Liked him more than Ogho from what I read.

I have to leave shortly...and won't be back till around 9:15 PM EST.

The Browns have 2 picks in the next 5 picks.

I forwarded my Brown's board to: MR E, Green Hurricane, MBgreen (he may be only here for a short time), the brickwall423 & Jetfanmack.

Hopefully one of the 5 Gms could make my pick. Waiting for TCGF..Lions to make their pick.

    Thanks.

I'm liking the Cowboys draft so far

Rd 1 Terrence Cody, NT, Alabama
Rd 2 Vladimir Ducasse, OT, UMass
Rd 3 Jacoby Ford, WR/KR, Clemson
Rd 4 Larry Asante, S, Nebraska

Fills most needs and improves the team overall. =)

Can't take credit for the first two picks though.

Im content, not happy with the Steelers draft. I've had to deal with my top 3 being pick right before my pick in Rd. 2-4. Its been a tough road but I think my draft will turn out to be solid.

    1. Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
    2. Brandon Ghee, CB, Wake Forest
    3. Montario Hardesty, RB, Tennessee
    4. Jamar Chaney, ILB, Miss. State

Rd 1 Dan Williams, NT, Tennessee
Rd 2 Corey Wootton, DE, Northwestern
Rd 3 Matt Tennant, C, Boston College
Rd 4 Jeremy Williams, WR, Tulane

I'm Ok with this draft, I wanted McClain but he went right before me. Wootton I kind of regret taking. Tennant seemed like a good value at the time. With Williams I wanted to get Orton/Quinn a new weapon in this draft, at that spot their were a bunch of WR prospects who I liked so I just grabbed Williams
