    "welcome to the nfl" sounds strange to say by ogden. he entered the nfl a year after warren sapp, and didnt' become relevant for another few years after that while sapp was an impact player from his first year in the league. link or i call bs...edit: i mean "hornet"

    What if we had signed Peppers?

    Obviously, our glaring need - and the failure of Gholston is magnified here - is the complete absence of any kind of pass rush.

    The secondary is covering well for a few seconds, but as Cutler showed, if a good QB has time he will find open receivers.

    Can you imagine if we had signed Peppers to this defense?

    I'd be feeling a lot better about our playoff chances.

    Rules didn't allow it...we were a final 4 team so we would have to lose a player testing FA in order to even sniff Peppers.

    And signing him would mean 1 if not 2 guys would not get contract extensions.

    if you ask me, when ever the season is over, the fat man is going to take a leave of absence, basically quitting on us, to take care of his family matter. Not that I don't blame him, but typical Jet, we are gonna lose our coach
