I don't think so. McKnight had no business lasting this long. I thought he was a early third round prospect.
Every team has that problem though, think about it. We lost Leon and Jenkins and still had an 11 point lead at halftime of the AFC Title Game.
Did you notice how every other response to my initial post went? They told me why it was an overreaction. They didn't feel the need to spew curses and insults. But unlike NDMick, Cato and whoever else actually responded like a mature adult and told me why I was wrong, you failed to add anything either, and actually went in the opposite direction.

Does every team need to use the full time allotted even after a full night to readjust their draft board? This is slower than the 1st round.

I think the jets are systematically fixing all our holes from last year. We made the O-line younger yesterday and are throwing a guy with immense potential into the best possible situation. all pro colleagues and coaches that are some of the most brilliant defensive minds in the nfl today. Our other picks were needs that became obvious during the afc championship game. Anyone not named Revis was getting picked apart by Manning. We got Cromartie to replace Lito, Wilson stands in for Lowery. Let's play that game again and i see a different outcome. What really killed us was when Shonn Greene went down in the third. TJ could not get it done (and if you watched enough games last year this wasn't surprising, he could not explode through those holes, while Shonn was zooming through them). Greene, LT and Leon, is what we had for this season that's a guy coming off of a major knee injury, a guy that got injured in our biggest game last year, and a 30 year old back with a crazy number of career carries. We play smash mouth running football that roster was not going to be enough to handle the wear. It's a good pick, the jets must've seen something in McKnight.
The only problem with that logic is that we have more of a need on Defense then Offense, other then that, you would be correct. Drafting RB at that spot is not a great draft value for this team in the 4th, its not like we have traded down for a bunch of extra picks to have that luxury!
Why are you guys so gung-ho about choosing a NT of all positions? Jenkins will be back and Pouha is a solid back-up.
