Starks missed his entire senior season because of a shoulder injury, but he was always productive and he had a very good combine. I was just surprised that a team with a deep backfield didn't draft him around the 4th round. He's an intriguing developmental back.
I actually thought the Bears would be ahead early, but I still bet on the Pack to cover. Looks like I might not have to sweat this one out.
They lucked out that there was a holding call on that drive. That killed Chicago's offensive momentum.
Yep. I had just assumed they were afraid to draft him without seeing contact first, which was impossible. Still, you're right that the 6th was awfully low. On the other hand, we saw a pretty widespread devaluation at the position in last year's draft.
Why haven't there been any field goal attempts? I mean I'll take it but come on stupid Bears. You need TDs not punts.
these decisions by Chicago to punt rather than try field goals are not working out Gould is a pretty good kicker. I guess Lovie doesn't trust him here with anything over 40.
The Bears are obviously selling out against the pass. Pack are getting a first down on almsot every run.
Man if we have to play Green Bay in the SuperBowl (if we get there) will not be an easy game. That D is scary with Woodson and Tramon Williams at the CB spots and the pass rusher in Matthews
