I just have to add something to the fatcessa thread because it's still bothering me two days later. Did anyone notice that on Miked Up, he had the Giants jerseys on the left and their helmets and on the right of the screen was Pats helmet. There was no Jets logo, no Jets helmet no nothing in picture, only a small screen in the middle of the set with footage from the game. His hatred for the group is so apparent it's a joke. I always relish a Jet win so I can see him squirm.
I'd say that is a serious understatement Cakes. Imagine if Braylon had rolled his range rover and wound up injuring himself and our starting LT and the Ghost. We'd have to slide Woody over to LT. Hunter would have to play RT. The entire offense would have been impacted by one drunk driver. Poor judgment by DF & VG in getting in a car w/anybody who was drunk. Between the episode with the reporter and this crap, somebody needs to wake this knuckleheads up !!!
I completely agree. I read a Rich Cimini article where he compares the Jets to "Animal House". He's correct, and it's definitely not a good thing.
Mike'd up & Channel 4 have been really biased lately. Opening week The JETS were not covered Thu Fri & Sat 6pm News even though we were on Monday Night. Also, that same Sunday, on Mike'd up there were No JETS jerseys and they didn't even mention us...add to that (Mike was off) they had a GIANTS beat writer on...the word JETS never happened.. I'd mentioned this b4 so no, you are not alone in noticing this shit

I had to laugh yesterday when the he started off how Rex lets his player run wild and then he went off on the whole cheeseburger thing on Hard knocks.....somehow Mike forget Rex ripped the team a new asshole about that the next day now lets go get a damn snack
The difference here is that Kareem had ZERO issues before this and played for a fairly disciplined team. The Braylon situation is the complete opposite.

I hear you, but the overall atmosphere around this Jets team troubles me because it has, so far, manifested itself in the form of dumb penalties. Undisciplined teams off the field are usually undisciplined on the field, and that needs to stop.
Just watched a bit of him and he is trashing the Jets bad saying don't expect players with good character on the Jets cause the organization doesnt care about it. Saying Edwards is a thug and a criminal for all the terrible things he has done. Uh pretty much since Rex got there we've gotten bad players. Tannenbaum used to preach about only wanting players who had good moral fiber and blah blah and because he was afraid of losing his job he stopped giving a shit about that. Pretty much the Jets don't care what kind of human being you are they will sign you. Basically telling people the Jets are lying when they are saying they cant punish Edwards. Now some dude called arguing with him and he freaked out saying keep signing players like Braylon, Holmes and Cromartie and see how much the Jets win. And the Jets are condoning what Edwards did. Any caller challenging him he wont even give the time of day today.
