When the Jets made the Cromartie trade Francesa said it was a great risk. He loved the deal. He was always a Cromartie fan.

Now he says he doesn't like Cromartie because he had a bad MNF game.

He doesn't stop saying 'not to make any excuses'

For the Jet game it's 'not to many any excuses but Brady was off target and he said it was the worst he has ever played'

For the Giant game it's 'not to make any excuses but the nobody wins that game last night against the colts'

if the jets lose any game in embarrassing fashion like last night they get chewed out. the giants were just in an impossible spot and it's ok that they got destroyed. they even got ran on by a team that can't run the ball. he just tells justin tuck you can quickly shake this game off.

LOL. I honestly think the Giants su ck. Eli and the passing game is good. He has weapons. The defense is a mess. They have some good players but they have no LB's. I think they're a 6-10 or 7-9 team.

There was an article, I think in the post, last week condemning him.

Francesa is just like Florio. He's interested in selling his product not in reporting truth. If he thought being a Jet's bandwagoner would get him beaucoup listeners he'd be there in a flash.

What he's likely decided to do in a 2 team town is to favor the more popular of the teams to get their fans listening and disrespect the other to both please his base audience and to draw listeners of the other team who can't stay away from the constant car wrecks he creates.

It's a good strategy. If he was both a Giants and Jets homer he'd lose respect from both sides for not being a true fan of their team. As it is he gets loyalty from what he perceives to be the larger fanbase and also draws the accident watchers from the other side.

I actually listened to the show occasionally when the Mad Dog was there, mainly because HIS car wrecks were really interesting whereas Francesa's are kind of "meh..."

He's had a beef with a few post writers for a while now, especially Phil Mushnick.

What's he saying about Edwards? Unless he's saying something like he should be out for the season almost all criticism of him is fair. What a stupid fucking thing to do.

Not much. All he said was that's the risk you take when you bring in the Edward's and Holmes of the league... really didn't bash the Jets... he did say the Jets could make a statement by suspending him this week but he doesn't think they will

I'm not listening either, I know he started his monologue with the Yankee/Steinbrenner/Torre stuff from last night but didn't want to stick around to hear the Jet-bashing.

And yes anything anti-Braylon is more than fair but personally I think he's gonna blame the team for it...this is what happens when you bring in this many troubled players, there's no discipline, etc.

He's not and he didn't... It's be kind of hard to get on his high horse after Jacobs threw his helmet into the stands and Steve Phillips coming on at 3

That's a fair point. Tannenbaum said in the post Holmes trade conference call that trading for him was a risk but for a 5th round pick it was a risk worth taking.

And if they want to suspend Edwards I'd imagine they'd wait until the Buffalo game. We can win that game just running the ball and playing solid defense. We need Edwards against Miami

whats the infatuation with the other people in the car? Bralyon is the only one who should be at fault, the others are insignificant

How about limiting Randy Moss to zero catches in the second half?

Fatty thought process: "Interceptions don't make a cornah. Neeethah doo catches aganst a cornah."

Why isn't he laying into the Giant defenders who got torched by Manning? He never runs out of excuses to bash the Jets.

Francesa said he could cut Edwards right now.

Yeah...you would cut him so the Jets chances of winning go down.

The others did not commit a crime, but they exhibited severe lack of judgment getting into a vehicle driven by a drunk guy.
