i don't understand why giant fans hate the jets? i'm a jet fan but i like the giants. i mean if they were in the playoffs i'd root for them all the way until they played us in the SB. I was rooting hard for them to beat NE, but i feel liek if we played philly or dallas they still rather root for philly or dallas then us. i really don't get it?

i get your sarcarcm, but the Giant fans (like fatty) who actually think that are really way off. The Giants are not a dominant and recognized franchise like the Yankees (and i'm no baseball fan so not promoting them). They've had one dominant team in the Super Bowl era. Over the last 10 years, each team has had their share of success, of course with the G-men taking one massive underdog run which was great for them. This is not a Giants town IMO, unless you are a Giant fan and that's fine. Where i've lived in Queens and LI, it is more of Jets town. Just depends on the fan base.

its either arrogance or ignorance. The Yankees have about 60 years of history on the Mets and have won 27 championships. They can claim the big brother tag. The only franchise that can compare is the Montreal Canadiens. The Giants are have never been a perennial contender. They are just another team in this town. You route for who you route for, but the comparisons are idiotic.
