 He said his wife is better at judging the feet down plays than he is. "Hey Roe! ROE! Gimme a look see here. Did dat receivah land in bawnds?"
The only mistake on the Edwards catch before the field goal wasn't if he got both feet down ("My wife saw dat, and she's very good wid dose types of cawls, and she said he was in. . .) was the referee winding the clock, when Edwards clearly put his hand out of bounds after the catch. If anything, the play should have been reviewed for clock. If the play was called correctly, the Jets would have had even more time to run the ball to the center the ball for Folk on the FG attempt. Don't forget, Folk's FG made it inside the right goal post by about 3-4 feet. Not having that clock stopped and the oppotunity to "center" the ball for the FG attempt almost cost us that game.
Agreed. Was at Hooters on 17 and a bunch of Giant fans there were cheering for the Colts. sick of it. The 2 Gint fans in our crew where all for Jets though. They were rooting for the hometown hero's. Most knowledgeable and reasonable Gint fans don't have any love for Peyton either. Besides, how many Jet fans were cheering for the Giants in 2007? I certainly was.
I usually root or the giants if they make the playoffs and some giants fans are the same way w/the jets. but the giants fans that would root for the pats over the jets are truly some sick mofos.

I said this last night.it was the only bad call by the refs. He was 2 feet in and then knee down then landed oob but the key here is that he was not down by contact so the clock would have stooped once he landed oob...the difference would have been setting up a run to line the fg up from the middle of the field...good thing it didn't cost us anything..
Once again Fatty showing his biased side. All morning he says 'If dah Colts coulda made dis play dey probably win' then a caller says 'if sanchez doesn't miss all those open recivers in the 1st half the jets win easy. of course tank responds with 'now waitasekent u cant do that! da colts had 10 otha plays they could say dey woulda won if they made them!' tank does this after every jet close win. if only da otha team made that one play tha jets lose! he tries to be fair but in the end his jet hatred comes out. if you're gonna sit their all show and say 'da colts missed faww plays dey wish they coulda had back' you gotta be fair and at least acknowledge sanchez had 2 wide open TD's in the 1st half he missed. Probably 3.
I got pissed at that too, they were discussing the play and they were still running the clock. It was clear Edwards caught the ball got two feet down and went out of bounds. The Jets still shoulda had plenty of time to run one more play to center the ball. I was watching at work with no sound so I had no idea we had a timeout because I thought we were the ones who called it after that run to get it to 29 seconds.
^ same here Miano. I couldn't believe they didn't stop the clock, I thought for sure his forearm was out.
You can always tell when somebody is on the losing side of an arguement... it contains more if's than fact.
Absolutely. I am the first to admit I was rooting as hard for the Giants as I do for the Jets (on any given Sunday) in that game.
Someone told me that he said the Braylon Catch ws meaningless which I completely disagree with. It wouldve been a 48-49 yarder which is no gimee instead it was basiclly a chip shot. Just him trying to downplay Edwards cause hes been ranting against him since the DUI
i had a giant fan celebrating after we punted at the end pf the game saying it was over manning was gonna drive them down and win and was celebrating already lol
I'm right behind you... it was my home against Boston. I hate the Yankees but I hate the Red Sox just as much and don't wanna see them have any success either. If it was the Giants against say the Steelers I'd have pulled for Pitt but put NY/NJ anything against Boston and I'm pulling for the Tri-Staters. Buck Foston
