I think Mike wants the Jets to win so that he can tell everyone how inferior Rex is, as compared to Belichick, if the Pats win.
I sometimes like to use the great Phil Hartman News Radio reruns as background noise at this time of day. Lately, though, I've been hooked on Dupp. It's like crack. But if I pick up the phone and he's audible in the background, it's downright embarrassing. I'd sooner be caught with streaming porn.
:rofl2::rofl2: I know that feeling. Luckily I'm in New England so no one knows who he is. Although the other day a curious co-worker asked me "Who's that guy with the annoying New York accent you're always getting a kick out of?"
Tom from Harlem, who Mike says "doesn't have a brain in his head, and cant put a sentence together," just hammered Mike. Of course Mike spins it by saying that it's the Jets choice because 1050 asked them to block players from coming on with Mike.
"Da bottom line is 'dis folks. . ." The embargo has nothing to do with the time slot v. 1050, as Mike is suggesting, but with Mike himself. Otherwise none of the Jets would have appeared with Joe/Evan when they subbed for Francesca.
It makes sense. 1050 carries the Jets games and wants Jets fans to listen to their station's major show and not their competitor. 660 carries the Giants and Mike has Giants guests on his show for that same reason.
