It's pretty hilarious hearing Francesa screaming about this time management thing when he's wrong if you actually watched the game. The play clock would have run out at 2:03. Now, if they didn't start the play clock on time (which they did). You have to run a play before the 2 minute warning. Then after 3rd down, you call the time out with like 1:52 left or whatever. It's a bang-bang move, but Rex should have just let it go. It's not a big deal because it was cutting it really close, but I really am pretty sure he's wrong.

They absolutely CAN NOT let three seconds elapse. In fact, the 40 sec clock starts automatically. It might take them 3 secs to spot the ball, but the play clock starts immediately.
