Now granted, the Jets offense played awful but still no credit ever for the Jets. I don't remember his comments after that game but I'm sure he didn't give the Jets Defense one ounce of credit.
since the giants won the SB... 2008.. started 11-1 took the 1 seed didn't win a playoff game 2009.. started 6-2 then finished 8-8 and missed the playoffs 2010.. started 6-2 currently stand at 9-6 and will probably miss the playoffs Jets on the other hand 2008... started 8-3 favre fell apart. finished 9-7 missed playoffs 2009.... finished 9-7 made playoffs. won 2 playoff games 2010... currently stand at 10-5 with the 6 seed and nothing to play for. I know plenty of NFL and Jet-Giant history.....you may recall there was a heated RIVALRY between the AFL and NFL ? And I know about the petty back-and-forth between the 2 teams. Don't forget that Mara was instrumental in helping the Jets transition to Giants Stadium (I know, I know -- we should hold that against him...nonetheless.....) and Leon Hess considered him a close personal friend. Without Mara agreeing to revenue sharing, the NFL as we know it doesn't exist.
