Imagine this fuck having the "Birds & Bees" talk with his son. "You see now, me and your muddah...lawng story short, you were an uttah disastah."
The same classless coach that took full responsibility in his press conference? C'mon, man. There are so many legit things you can criticize Coughlin for after that loss, is it really necessary to start making shit up? I haven't always been a huge Coughlin fan either, but conducting himself with class/decorum/not being a media whore is one category you can't really fault him in.
What did I make up? It was said. I'm sure the game will be replayed again and you can hear it for yourself... I'd rather my coach me a clown off the field than a horses ass on it...
I'm on my phone so I can't pull up the exact quote but in the same breath Coughlin said "I take responsibility" and then said "I told him to kick it out of bounds." That's not taking responsibility.
On my phone otherwise I would insert the picture of Coughlin, veins bulging, yelling at Dodge. But then again Fatty said he can't kill Coughlin for that because he puts his heart into the game and he's a human being, which of course makes him so much different from Rex.
Let's be honest, he didn't take full responsibility. When he humiliated the P he was placing the blame on him just like Eli was w/ your WR. Coughling is too busy worrying about encouraging the corwd to be liud rather than focusing on the game.
Fatty would be loving this Rex press conference right now! Dis guy is makin a fool outta himself. Everyone knows it's Rex and he's denyin it like a clown. What a cowwid this guy is. If dis wuh the Giants they woulda fiyed this guy a lawwng time ago.
Ya see, there he goze ahgin wit dis persahnal mattah stuff!! just say it Rex! say itz you in dat pawnagrafic videah rooining the minds ov children all ovah ahmerica!!! see, da cahver up is always wurse dan da action!!! DA CAHVER UP IS ALWAYS WURSE!!!
We can only hope that Fatty has his sawces locking down a naive midwestern girl that has been abused by the porn industry for an interview on Monday.....
Yeah, Coughlin is totally the couch in NYC that panders to the crowd and is more concerned with fan perception and press conferences than just doing his job. Have you read any interviews with Coughlin, listened to any press conferences, or heard what any players (including Matt Dodge himself) have said about Coughlin following Sunday's loss? I know you're busy delighting in schadenfreude, but you should do your homework before you throw out criticisms based more on your emotions than anything real. Coughlin is an asshole, but he's on far better terms with his players than the media (whom Coughlin doesn't care for and has made VERY clear on numerous occasions) would have you believe. And when have you heard Eli Manning ever place the blame on a WR? You'll occasionally see him getting demonstrative on the field (though that's more Peyton's category) but that's about as far as his criticism goes. I get that you enjoy the Giants not doing well and don't like the team (perhaps due to asshole fans like myself)but you should try making sure that barbs you throw at them have some basis in reality. Dude, after a loss like this you have so many valid things you can knock the team for (I've written a list myself). Are you really so lazy that you can't use something real as opposed to just making shit up?
Dodge admitted in his own press conference that he was told to kick the ball out of bounds. He didn't and it cost him the game. Coughlin had every right to scream at him. Coughlin is far more of a player's coach than he gets credit for; he's been instrumental in developing a number of players on the current roster, has helped players overcome personal problems, and still keeps in touch with Burress and his family DESPITE the fact that Burress completely shafted the organization. Just because the media hates him (the feeling is mutual, btw) doesn't make him a horses' ass on the field. Would you rather him say he considered benching his QB and then leave his starting QB in the dark on his feelings towards him leading the team forward, or would you rather he yell at a guy that just fucked up bad? And can you blame him for yelling at Dodge? There were many reasons they lost that game, but Dodge deserves his share of blame for that God-awful punt.
I don't care what the guy says, his actions showed us waht he was thinkiong. he threw Dodge under the bus. Did you hear what Howard eskin said he did after the game? Coughlin said it was on him but that's not the way he acted and that means more than his words. I didn't say the players hated him, he's a good coach but I think he made a mistake w/ Dodge the other day among many other mistakes in allowing that game to slip away. Obviously I enjoyed the way the Giants lost but I have not been talking about all week and knocking them. I have seen that team bounce back from awful losses before so I am not counting them out. They blew a 31-10 lead w/ 7 mins to play, dodge's goof was bad but he didn't lose them the game. there were a million things that cost them that game and Coughlin looked like a buffoon berating him after the play.
Fatty: OK Eddie, you got dem? OK, here's Bunny and Amber, callin' us from a convent in Pahkippseee, to tell us about dere lives befah dey gave up da foot fetish lifestyle. You dere girls? Bunny and Amber: Yes Mike, thanks for having us on. Fatty: OK for the viewers on Yes, we've gotta pitcha of you two being exploited by a couple dat looks a lot like Rex and his wife. My law enfacement sawces tell me dat youse two are holdin' Rex's feet in dis pticha. Was da Missus da one takin' da pictcha?
Agreed 100%. The but worst part - worse than the onfield thing, which you could chalk up to emotion - was saying I take responsibility in the PC and then calling him out.
