1 loss and the media, us fans, and fatcessa freak out. 1 blow out loss and the media, us fans and fatcessa declare the nation in a state of emergency
rex isn't like every other coach. rex is going to talk and talk and puff up his team. when they lose this is going to happen all the time. as jet fans we're gonna have to deal with it for a long time(hopefully because we want Rex to be here for awhile and that means success).
What a d-bag, now he's killing his producer (without any hint of humor) because a Giant fan called in to comment on the game and some guy had a bad connection. No wonder his last producer quit.
and although sal was fired I bet he quit too, lol. fatty is a douche. he treats everyone like he's better then them.
I'm seeing the fans on this site that have a history of being rational....being rational. The media and Francesa make their living off exaggeration and hyperbole.
Killing his producer and taking shots at the Jets in the process lol. Cmon Ray get me some Jet fans, we look like da Jets out dere starting da show like dis!
Actually, Francessa didn't make a big deal about the game. He said the Jets can bounce back. He was more pissed off about Rex and his actions.
Hey, I heard him live. This is a pointless, semantical argument but, in my view, he was definitely comparing the teams. And regardless, the scenarios aren't even remotely the same - That Bears team was historically dominant throughout that season with one stinker in Miami on a Monday night. This Jets team is 9-3 with a 1-3 record against winning teams. It's meaningless for him to point out that the 85 Bears goal of winning a superbowl went uninhibited after they lost to Miami because EVERY team in playoff contention has a goal of winning the superbowl this year, whether they lost last week or not. The point is, that 85 Bears team was equipped to go on a historic playoff run of allowing 10 points in 3 playoff games (superbowl included) and completing the most dominant single season in NFL history. I'm sorry but nothing the Jets have accomplished so far this season warrants them being brought up in the same sentence with the 85 bears.
