He claims he was innocent? Is this all that Edwards needed to do to get a pass from Fatty? Imagine if he was a Jet - "Hee's been a bad actah since college. Dis guy is not a good charatater playa and dis is what happens when you have a coach who drafts dis kind of guy. Now hee's speedin thru neehbahoods where kids play. I don't care what da test says. He was weevin between lanes and could be on drugs. We'll have a guest on who lost his whole famly of fawteen kids to a DWI next. Back afta dis." -------- Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams was arrested on a DUI charge early Friday but will still play in Sunday's game against the 49ers. Williams, 23, was arrested at 2:48 a.m., according to Hillsborough County Jail records. He was booked and released after posting $500 bail shortly after 8 a.m., the newspaper reported. The rookie standout was driving a black Cadillac 57 mph in a 45 mph zone and weaving between lanes, said Larry McKinnon, Hillsborough County Sheriff's spokesman. Williams failed a field sobriety test, McKinnon told the paper. Two tests found his blood-alcohol level at .065 and .061 percent, below the state limit of .08 for DWI. A urine test was conducted and results are pending, McKinnon said. A urine test is done if a deputy suspects a driver is impaired by a substance other than alcohol. .... Williams missed all of the 2008 college season after he was accused of cheating on a test. He also missed part of the 2009 season for curfew violations and eventually left the team with five games left.
Francesa is gonna be fuming after yet another Jet late win! I love it! He already stated before the game that if the Jets don't win this game fairly easy it's gonna tell you a lot about the jets. They wahhh lucky!
This past week he was actually not appearing to spew anti-Jetism's. If we lost, I was fully expecting the worst, and did not plan on listening. Now, I cannot wait to hear what he has to say.
He was fair last week so I'm expecting him to be more of the same. Sanchez growing up, turning into something special. With the game on the line, offense can be trusted defense cannot.
"Rex can tawk all he wants about his vawnted defenz. An 'elite' defense duzint blow a 16 point lead in da fawfth quawta. The stawy of dis game is that qawtabak. He just might be speshul. Real speshul. I sed he culd be when Mista T draffted him. Rex owes dat kid a ton today." >> Francessa has been fair the past few weeks, for the most part. Though he's probably salivating for the chance to jump all over them come the next "lawss".
He's gonna spend all week on da Mets' new managah and Jeetah contract tawk with a side of Mantle and Dez Bryant. Dat kid is ALL WORLD, ya know.
I'm sure tonight at some point he'll say, "Ders no way round it fowlks...." Another poster mentioned this, it is interesting how he always has to preface his comments about the Jets like this making it seem like he just wishes there was a way he could avoid giving the compliment.
he'll give sanchez credit but no way will he go overboard and start using the awwwl world special type of playah. he'll basically say 'duh defense ain't anything special, they uhh awwdinary.' fatty got on the giants when they gave up those late TD's to dallas on MNF. i can only imagine what he'll turn this game into. he just can't take it anymore. he wants to kill the jets do badly and it's killing him the jets are pulling these games out so when he tries to rant about how da jet awww lucky he can't say shit. cuz last year the jets what seemed like every close game and he said 'it doesn't mattuh how u win, it just mattiz if you get the W.
"Next on Mike'd Up, da big stories everyone in New Yawk is tawking about tonight - Terry Collins named as da Mets' new manager and the Derek Jeetah contract situation. A whole haff hour of baseball coming up on Mike'd Up"
Listening to him on this TV show just makes it that much more obvious how full of shit he is on his radio show. He's actually reasonable and generally pretty intelligent on TV and just rabble rouses on the radio and people eat it up.
Here we go... Leading off with Giants loss. Is this show that disgraceful that he cant get a real football as a prop instead of a nerf?
Plus an 8-ft tall fathead of Eli, and a Nacho jersey hanging on a wire hangar that some intern ran down to Cosby's to buy about 20 minutes ago. . .
