He has this NFL scout guy on and doesn't even ask him a Jet question. Why not ask about Kyle Wilson? Hello?
Michael Kay is no where near as entertaining as Mike Francesa. Mike Francesa is a giant utter asshole, and it's great radio.
Kay sucks. The only alternative is to get sirius and listen to either dog whos a lot better on his own or Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan on nfl radio
It's amazing how much attention you people are giving this fatass. The fact that he has his own thread on this site is immensely dissapointing on so many different levels.
I'll give you that he's "entertaining" but I'm not trying to be entertained. I'm trying to obtain the latest Jet information and he clearly doesn't deliver that...1050 does.
Dog sucks. NFL radio is great but (I listen most mornings on my drive to work), for solely JETS conversation 1050 is where you need to go.
Your 100% right on. I listen to both. I listen to Francesa, because I'm so interested on how he is such a fucking child when it comes to the Jets. He has completely stopped mentioning the Jets on his show.
While I don't listen to him there there is comedic value to his bias/hatred that people find entertaining. Unfortunately, it gives him ratings but that's the way it is. I'm satisfied enough that he loses credibility amongst his peers in the media and they see through all the BS even though some of the rubes who listen don't. I click the thread out of curiousity and find it pretty funny actually. I listened to him here and there during the playoffs and I actually broke out in laughter a handful of times. :breakdance::breakdance:
Disagree. The first couple of months on sirius were a rough go, but hes been good since the nfl playoffs. His NCAA tournament coverage the first week with jerry wainwright was a great listen.
He must have had a falling out with the Jets organization recently because he used to talk about the Jets all the time. Lately he's been focusing on the Giants almost 90% of the time almost to the point where he's sticking it to the Jets. Something's up.
He did mention a month or two ago that the Jets were working more with another station. He acted like it was no big deal, but you know he didn't like it.
^Again. Jets have a bad PR staff and they are up ESPN radios ass. The fact is as bad as Kay is, if you want Jets you gotta go to 1050.
