Here's the kicker: since punishment to Favre might help the Jets, sending pixs of your dong to a woman is no big deal. So - if punishing the bad behavior would help the Jets the crime is played down by fatty. If the bad behavior is by a Jets player he needs to be punished severely. Nope no bias there. You're honestly expecting people to be just as outraged at texting naked pictures to a 22 year old as they were about someone driving drunk? Drunk driving is way worse and deserves a more severe punishment. The texts are rude, inappropriate and probably harassment, but there is no danger of innocent drivers or pedestrians dying because of them. Does this really need to be explained? What is tank supposed to say, Childress should bench him? Give me a break, nothing has even been proven yet. Braylon was arrested, it's his word against a police officer's, and his teammates were in the car. Of course people are going to say the Jets need to do something. Favre allegedly sent those pix and vmails. Huge difference in every facet of the situation. (Edit: not to mention Favre wasn't even on his current team at the time, why should they have to be responsible for his punishment? That's like saying the Jets should punish Braylon for getting into a fight in Cleveland) If you compared Francesa outrage (if there was any) over the Inez situation, that would be different, because at least both are considered harassment and Favre's is obviously worse. But to compare with Braylon? Bad job there.

Fatty says "it's unclear what happened" (you can go back in this thread and hear his actual comments from that day.) Basically he barely gave a shit that Taylor alledgedly raped a teenager. Braylon's alleged DWI - admittedly a crime if he is convicted - and Mike goes apeshit and goes off on an Anti DWI rant for a week. Braylon's actions were dangerous but no one was actually hurt, unlike when a high drunk Taylor raped a young girl. So when it comes to purported crimes against women - Sterger and the the rape case - Fatty couldn't give a shit. DWIs other than the Edwards DWI Fatty couldn't care a whit. Braylon's DWI? Hang 'em High. And don't even get me started about all of Fatty's sanctimonious bullshit about Rex's cursing as if that's worse than sexual harrasment or rape.
I really don't know what to make of the Giants. They get embarrassed by the Colts, then embarrass the Texans who beat the Colts.
