I agree, but I don't think you're going to see quite the same offense this year. Whether it's Cutler or Clemens behind center, I think we get a playbook that still emphasizes the run, but expands the depth of the passing game.

The problem is.. we cannot evaluate our QB's from game footage because they haven't played in that many games.
The ONLY way we can evaluate them is by watching them train day after day and see what kind of throws they make in practice. But since we can't do that because we aren't on the Jets coaching staff the only thing we can do is trust our GM, our coaches and our scouting department.
If we draft a QB it's because this month both Ratliff and Clemens really sucked... if we don't it's becaused they showed something promising. Either way whatever we do in the first round, wheter it's QB or DE, I'm fine with it because I trust Ryan and Tannenbaum evaluation.

Why would they have to draft a qb? Rex could just as easily bring in a veteran to get the job done until they find a younger qb that they would feel comfortable drafting.

I was shocked when Bradford stayed another year. Bradford>Sanchez>Stafford

The Jets have always emphasized the run and that's why it has been so easy to stop. Only last year were teams back on their heels a bit. The worst thing the Jets could do is start a crap QB.

Think of Mike Nolan and Alex Smith in SF.

Fixed it for you. That's why teams were able to focus on the run. Not a concern with either of our current potential starters.

Lets develope what we have this year and draft one next year if we have too. I just say lets go get a wr or rb if we go offense. Or go for another NT so that we have a backup for Jenkins when he goes out of the game since our defense looks so exposed when he leaves the game. I saw first had last year Jets vs Chargers.

Mike Nolan's firing was justified after having 3 losing seasons and on his way to a 4th. If Rex is winning games and not making dumb coaching decisions I really don't think it matters what he does about the quarterback as long as it isn't hurting the team in any way.

I do not want to draft a QB this year. We already have three young unknowns to compete. No QB drafted this year will be more ready to start than the three wae already have.

Get Cutler or Quinn, or just stay pat with what we have. If no one steps up we draft a QB next season.

    Sam Bradford or Tim Tebow

Say what you want about Tebow, but that kid is in the Flutie/Brees mold and will be good.

If we draft Freeman I will be beyond pissed and be waiting for Tanny to get fired. Cheering for Tanny to be fired. Hell I will be carrying the torch and pitchfork.

People keep talking about what they want
It is not about what any of us want
It is about what is best for the team, and right now, none of us know what that is
