Boise let this one slip through their grasp with the mental mistakes and turnovers in the
2nd and third quarter. then the missed fg and botched XP. Frankly they deserve to lose if you can't get off the field in the second half.

I'm not trying to sell him short at all, he's having a great game.

But one of the main reasons that he's been able to scramble successfully (whereas he struggled to get space in the first quarter) is because Williams and the running game have tired out Boise's interior defense.

If they run the table, they 100% deserve to play for the title game. This team is for real.

 

can't believe he didnt catch it frankly. He was killing boise and taylor put a beautiful ball right on his hands. tech couldnt ask for a better 4th down pass in that scenario.

guys who actually understand college football, is boise deserving of playing in the NC if they run the table?

Or are they really an "inferior" team compared to the power conferences, and they really only had this one game to win?

also, love the announcers suddenly talking this up like boise had it won the whole way, and not like VA tech had them dead against the wall until the last 120 seconds...

 

Great game. VT with two very good chances on 3rd and 4th down but missed out with incompletions.
