Furious rally by the Hogs. They blocked a punt with just over a minute left. They are trailing 31-26. And Mallett immediately throws an interception to one of the players who should have been suspended for this game.
He was pretty damn good all game, his receivers couldn't catch anything. Just made one bad mistake at the end.
Really a killer mistake by Horton to fall on the ball on the blocked punt when he could've walked into the endzone. Even if he wasn't aware there was no one on OSU around him, even if OSU had recovered, Arkansas would've had the same field position.
After all my hyping Mallett early in this game, he showed some familiar mistakes as the game went on. The pressure really did turn out to kill him, and not even the cannon can make up for that sometimes.
Miami of Ohio recovers a MTSU fumble. Offensive holding on play. Announcer says that Miami "will probably" decline the penalty. Wow. 21-21 in the 3rd.
congrats to the redhawks! first FBS team to go from double digits losses one season to double digit wins the next
Nevada/BC tonight I'm not sure why they don't put a better bowl game at the end like this. They did the same thing last year; with a bad bowl the day before the last.
One of the Nevada players (jason somebody) just took a cheap shot at a BC player running out of bounds. No flag.
Nevada wins an ugly and boring game. Harris didn't play for BC, and they have no passing game (freshman QB, freshman WRs, none of them good), so they couldn't move the ball basically the entire game. They got a FG to make it 20-13, but they needed two pass interference calls on Nevada to make it into FG range.
http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=63273 By the way, it's sometimes interesting to look back and see where these teams were ranked in the preseason: Oregon: 11th in both polls Auburn: 22nd AP, 23rd coaches
