I wasn't talking about receivers only. In my opinion, AJ Green in the best overall prospect in college football.
I know... what I meant was that WR is a position with a high "bust" ratio... and AJ Green is as close to a sure thing as they come... which is even more impressive. I just hope Oakland continues the winning trend so the Pats don't have a shot at him... which prob is the case already. He might very well go top 3.
That's Auburn being Auburn... however it was surprising to see them down 21-3 in one quarter... But... they have Clowney !!! Smith + AJ Green + Clausen in year two + those RBs... the Panthers would have some talent out there... PS What do you guys think about Newton to a team like the Bills? It would be a good fit imo.
I'd stay at Auburn however long it took, to avoid Buffalo. I don't really like the fit there, they need to fix the line more than they need a QB ATM. Fitzgerald shows flashes when he's not on his ass. Now a place like SF would be an awesome fit for him. A line that is semi-competant, an existing run game and a 2 future stars to throw to.
TCU will not make the title game. Period. Their biggest win vs a average at vest Utah team that got spanked vs a wounded Irish team that lost to Tulsa. It will take a Auburn AND Oregon loss for TCU to get to No.2 and then not even with the teams wondering outside the top 4 that could go over the Horned Frogs. I would rank it as..... Oregon, Auburn, Boise St and maybe TCU. Don't get the Utah hype. Inexcusable to be down 28-3 vs this Irish squad starting a true freshman on their 1st start along with alot of injuries(Rudolph, Crist, Ridick, Allen, Williams our DT) On a side note, for a true freshman I gotta say Tommy Rees looks really good.
If Oregon is gonna lose, I think it's tonight. Cal is one of the best home teams in the country. Memorial gets them pumped. Regardless if they win or lose tonight, I think they fucking destroy Arizona next week.
If this was 2008, I might agree with you, but Cal's played a bunch of garbage teams at home this season. It doesn't matter where Oregon plays. I think it will be close for a while, but the Golden Bears won't be able to keep up.
Oh ya, I know they haven't been the best teams, but it's the victory margins home and away. They've won at home by, on average, 39 points, which is nuts. Best home win margin of any team. This is a good night to lose, for Oregon.
Well, when you open the season at home against UC Davis and Colorado, that average is going to be high. I agree that they're way better at home, but every team they've defeated in Berkeley has a losing record at the moment. Oregon's put up at least 40 points in away games - I don't think Cal can hang with them for an entire game.
Morons...koljklk PS Was Fairley one of them? The guy is a good player but boy he needs to learn how to control himself...
credit to the UTEP return team for the 100 yard kickoff TD the guys actually blocked near the end of the run instead of trying to outrun the return man to the endzone, which is what usually happens.
