Not sure how many people have followed this. Just released update on Red Sox prospect, Ryan Westmoreland.

 

I haven't heard anything, but do they think he'll be able to resume his career?

I'd assume not with BRAIN surgery, but I'm no brain surgeon(don't act so surprised), so I wouldn't know.

 

Green Hornet was back after a week.......should be a walk in the park for Westmoreland.

 

St. Louis rookie 3B David Freese made two critical errors, costing the Cards two runs tonight.

Joe Mather made a great diving catch in center to rob Cory Hart and save the Cards at least two more runs.

With one out, Braun hit a tailor-made DP ball to Freese, and Freese threw it away. That would've ended the innings. Then after Fielder Kd, Freese muffed a grounder.

 

Joe Morgan is full of inane comments tonight. No surprises there.

Anyway, "Monday night baseball" this week is actually tomorrow afternoon, 4 PM in Minnesota. Red Sox/Twins to open Target Field.

 

Pujols takes Hoffman deep in the 9th.

huge baseball day with non-stop games starting at 1 PM. I've been watching Rangers/Indians (9th inning, tied at 2), and Twins/Red Sox (4th inning, Twins up 4-1. Mauer with two RBUI).

 

Zito had 6 great innings against the Pirates tonight. Giants up 7-2 in the 7th

He was great last start as well, he's gettin creamed now tho.

 

7 no hit innings. Hit a batter and gave up a two run homer to start the 8th.

Ended up with the win. 8 innings, 1 hit, 2 runs, 2 walks, 12 Ks

On the season: 15 innings, 6 hits, 3 runs, 4 walks, 16 Ks
