    I wonder what that means.

Boras already got paid and Teix is locked up for many more years. He really doesn't need an agent right now.

Yeah they probably negotiated some time of lump sum payment from Tex to Boras and went their separate ways. He'll prolly never need an agent in his life again considering how long he's locked up for.

The umpires are already fucking horrible and it's just a few days into spring.

lots of errors on both sides, yanks pull it out 6-5, ugly win. i'll take 100 ugly wins a year though.

I've never followed spring training as closely as this year, I assume it's normal for the pitchers to be ahead of the hitters at the start. But even taken with a grain of salt, it's nice to see that everybody who needs to be pitching well is pitching well.

Garcia went 2 scoreless today, followed by 3 scoreless for Nova.

    Betances got dinged up today: 1 IP 1H 1ER 3BB 2Ks

Jesus Montero, welcome to the bigs!

Fractured foot for Cervelli. Out four weeks. Somewhere, Alio sheds a tear.

If his bat does what it's projected to do, his defense could be horrendous and he'd still be an obvious upgrade over and an asset to the team. But everyone has seemed very pleased with Montero's improvement behind the plate.

Shit...tough luck Cervelli, that really hurts him making the team after he comes off the DL.

Really, I think it just depends on whether the Yankees want to start Montero's arb clock.
