have any one of you even noticed that the ONLY team in the afc east that won't have to defend against the bills marshawn lynch in the eary part of the season is the pats? lynch is suspended for the first 3 games, and kraft made sure the pats were followed by 2 non-divisional games for the bills. the jets and the fins both got jobbed.:shit:

There is no break in that schedule... a bunch of tough teams combined with teams that play the Jets tough every time they meet... not going to be a coasting season like last year looked like it was going to be.

I'm not sure how that means that we have to fly there again. Why don't they come east and we go to the NFC team?

2 home games in Sept, 1 in Oct, 3 in Nov, and then a Dec 20 and Jan 3 home games. Both are 1pm, though, so maybe not that cold.

    ...really?

Any team in the division should be able to beat the Bills. What the fuck does it matter if Lynch plays or not?

Ok I'm going to be honest....this is either going to be a 10-6 wild card playoff year...or a 5-11 year.

Am I the only one who loves how the schedule broke, given the competition we were slated to face? We get back to back home games early against tough teams, giving us a chance to compete, and have extra time off on each of our back to back road trips. Our other tough stretch comes at the end of the season, when our team will have jelled if we're going to be competing for a playoff spot. All that and a Week 9 bye? I think it was laid out well for us.

Compare that to the Phins, who have 3 back to back road trips, all after an early bye. Of course, the Pats also got a favorable schedule...

It's part of a formula that has been in place since 2002.

The better question is what is with the lovefest Jacksonville is getting and a lot of posters having us lose at home to them?

They have a weak O-Line, maybe the worst WR group as of this moment, a RB who hasnt proved he can be an absolute workhorse and a very ordinary defense for the most part. Their QB isnt even that great either.

Because on a good day the Jet defense keeps them in the low 20s, while on a good day the Jet offense will put up low 20s.
