Oh hell yeah, that's what we get for beating 2 ranked opponents. I'm sure a bunch of babies will cry over that ranking, but the truth is no one so far has played tougher opponents than we have. Hopefully this ranking will climb when we beat VT on the road next week.
Georgia Tech barely beat a mediocre-at-best Clemson team. During the GT/Clemson game, it was very obvious that GT was extremely overrated. FSU just beat up on a pretty mid-major program. TCU, Boise State, and Houston are the serious BCS contenders out of the dominant mid-majors. Remember, the Noles were a catch away from beating the Canes. The ACC is an extremely overrated conference and both of the teams that Miami has beaten will finish in the middle of it. VT on the road will be tough, but the Hokies' offense is pretty terrible. Miami could definitely go into the Oklahoma game undefeated and the Sooners, in my opinion, will be the Canes' first big time opponent. The can prove to the nation that they belong in the top ten if they beat Oklahoma. I'm a huge Jacory Harris supporter, but the Canes definitely don't have that tough of a schedule. They still have Florida A&M, UCF, USF (minus Grothe), Virginia, and Duke. They should win all of these games, but their strength of schedule definitely isn't anything to brag about...
Keep posting at 4:20 with your LSU pipe dreams. It's really entertaining. Your team sucks. The only way I will worry about you is if the Gamecocks win Thurs.
See above. Believe me, i'm actually nervous about this game. Deep down I think we're overranked. A win Thursday puts me at ease, but I'm used to the Rebels sucking it up when it counts so i'm not writing this one off.
well yeah we may suck and not to say the gamecocks are a bad team, but if the Rebels lose to SC, then the Rebels REALLY suck
...South Carolina has an extremely solid defense. If the Gamecocks can run the football and control most of the clock, the Rebels will be in trouble.
