I agree..That's the point I was trying to make. All the talk went to their heads. I was even okay with the loss to Denver. They needed a good spanking to bring themselves down to Earth. However, they go out the next week and lose to a shit 49er team. You would have thought this team would have had fire coming out of their ears after the loss to Denver. Then, we play like shit against Buffalo, and get lucky. This coaching staff needs to be entirely re-evaluated. Throw the checkbook at Cowher...We don't need to rebuild the team, we need to BUILD a winning atmosphere. It's amazing how teams like the Steelers go year in and year out, and they have a winning culture. We go year in and year out, and we're destined for failure.
If the Pats win, I'll be rooting for the Dolphins. I'd rather see the Phins in than to see Belichick get into the playoffs.
I can honestly say that I saw this shit coming. The players change, the coaches change, the seasons change. But the same old F-ing Jets never fail to fail.
Good Trade first half of the year but Favre is 39 and his old arthritic body couldnt hold up for the second half of the season.
im pretty sure I heard him talk on the sidelines I read his Lips " This Trident is Strong Bob, what flavor is this"
i actually don't care..... i'm learning to be numb and not give a shit... I didn't even watch the 2nd half, I watch a movie instead. The movie was better. I a few years I should be able to watch football with fully apathy, and enjoy the game itself and stop being a fan. If someone does ask me who I root for, I will say the Jets, but being a die hard makes no sense... Today is the first day I begin not to care.
sadly, i actually feel the same way. i'd much rather see the dolphins(oh god) win the division than the pats. GO FINS! (gotta go throw up now)
Roger Goodell should just suspend the Jets operations, or give it to someone who cares. Someone who has a winning pedigree, like Bill Cowher, Bill Parcells, or even *gulp* Bill belichick
I was thinking of this too. Since we're in NY, I guess the Giants? I lived out in San Diego for 3 years, maybe I could be a Chargers fan? Giants is probably the easiest since I'd get every game.
We had the team this year w/ all the moves we made we just made one too mnay moves and it cost us a chance or a great season. If that Favre trade doesn't happen we probably still have a shot for a 2 seed w/ the division clinched.
Who Stays and Who Goes So I think we can all agree that this season is pretty much lost. So who are the guys that have to go. I'm sure everybody will say Mangini and Sutton but besides them who's got to go. On Defense Bryan Thomas Eric Barton Kenyon Coleman Ty Law David Barret Eric Smith On Offense Brett Favre Laverneus Coles Bubba Franks
