I'm with you. I have no reason at all to care if the Jets win next week. There is no way NE is losing to Buffalo. All I want at this point is for the Pats to miss the Playoffs and for the Jets to fire Mangini.

maybe, i think it's more that they have been on cruise control with no sense of urgency, again, that's coaching

It's a nightmare situation to be in... We don't deserve to play in the post season. Outcoached. Outplayed. Outclassed. Welcome to the world of New York Jets football..

This team was not ready to play. Fire Mangini.

I think we would have had to have brought Kotite back to see coaching this inept.

    Makes me Sick

Now we will hear all the critics. All the Favre lovers. "Oh its not Brett's fault", "Coles has to catch that pass on 4th down". Give me a break. Favre played like crap all day. It is his fault. He's gotta go. Hopefully he will just retire. Then they got to fire Mangini. They got some of the right peices. Now its time to get a QB and a head coach to lead them.

I'll be rooting for the Dolphins as well. There are alot of new faces in Miami and most of the hated players from when the Jets/Dolphins was a big rivalry have moved on. The Patriots are an organization from top to bottom full of classless pieces of shit and seeing them miss the playoffs would give me alot more pleasure then seeing the Dolphins go home.

i dont blame favre that much...the cs was horrible...

but i agree. at the least, we cant let favre return. it didnt work this year with him. if we get a new CS, who knows what may happen.

still, i think its time to infuse some new, young blood in at QB. clemens?? ratliff??

    I can only laugh

What a huge collapse, self destruction. This is seriously unbelievable. The one year we put it all on the line and after such an impressive midseason.... Let's just all laugh at how bad this organization is. Nice try Woody. You did what you could.

It is tough to say because we respect what he has done for the last 15 years but the magic is gone. Brett, congrats on a fine career and you will go down as one of the greats but tell your agent to call for a press conference for next Sunday night and call it a career. He looked 39 today and his time is over. That aside, Schottenheimer is horrible. We have the AFC's leading rusher and he yet again failed to get 20 carries. I'm sick and tired of the "we've got Brett Favre at QB so we need to pass 30 times a game" mentality.

Are you kidding me? Look at the players Miami has and look at the players the Jets have on the O side of the ball. Pennington this year is by far the better player this year.

no we're not, but do you honestly think this team if by a miracle make the playoffs, will make any noise in the playoffs, these last 5 games tell me they would get manhandled by a baltimore or an indy.

his lack of emotion, adjustments, and even just not saying a word makes him look like an idiot--If he's back next year with his favortes (Brad Smith, Bryan Thomas, etc), we'll get the cellar for sure.
