Yeah, and Herm is doing fantastic in KC. Don't give me that "undermanned, lack of talent" bullshit either. Believe it or not, Junc, Herm actually has a say in the personnel that makes the roster AND sees the field.

And Pennington. Great. He's doing his make-the-Playoffs-when-actually-healthy-bid-only-to-get-bounced-in-the-first-round-by-a-stout-D routine.

I know when to be humble...and now's a good time. Favre obviously didn't work out for us...but how much of that is him..and how much of it is because of the CS. I still think it's because the whole team wasn't clicking on all cylinders...not just Favre.

Having said that though....i still don't believe Pennington would've faired any better..if not worse.

Well at least we didn't have high expectations this year, like the Cowboys...who also shit the bed.

We bought ourselves a team that is built to win now. Too bad we have a fat, stupid, gum chewing moron running the team into the ground.

I don't retire as a Jet fan but, I am so pissed after today's game. I was not a Jet fan in the Kotite year but, this is by far the WORST football I have ever seen since becoming a Jet fan, The worst part is that this is by far the most talented team that. I would rather have fucking Rod Marinelli coaching this team than the great Mangina

Except this isn't as shocking to many of us because we could see the organization's flaws, from the coaches to the players -- the very same flaws that we tried discussing each week that you bitched us out for. Now eat your crow while twiddling your thumbs.

again, how's he supposed to be makin plays when our coaching insist that he play centerfield on every play??? maybe you'd actually see him makin plays if he played either

    a) closer to the LOS
    b) closer to the fukken action, in general.

this was not the first game he blitzed.. Kerry has always played deep but he read the play pre-snap and knew where to be in a hurry, this season he looked apprehensive and lethargic.. I hear money does that to you...

I feel like such a fool for actually thinking this wasnt the same old Jets. I thought with Mangini or Mangenious as he use to be reffered to that this would be different. I cant believe they fooled me again.

I have the feeling the coaching staff has lost this team.

Nothing specific led to this conclusion, just speculation on my part. Reading quotes in the papers, seeing the players on the sideline. And maybe most important of all watching the play on the field. But something's just not right. With this much talent and experience, the team should be coming together now not coming apart. If we lose to Miami next week, the conclusion will be inescapable.

I guess one could look to specific things this season like questionable play calling, a questionable draft choice (Gholston), the late season collapse. Maybe Favre quitting at the end of the year. And I put all of that on the coaching staff (and on Mangini's head, specifically).

Those last three words were unnecessary.
