Are you series? Flacco is talented but he's at a 1-AA school. He'll be a career backup at best, not the Jets saving grace. You're better off with your Gholston love fest. cheers.
I agree with you. I want someone like DJ Hall from Alabama and he'll probably last until late 2nd round. I also want to stock pile picks.
I was kidding... but I don't know about Flacco being a career backup -- I think he's got an NFL arm. I want to see where he ends up.
Pipe dream. We're not getting Cowher - He will be coaching the Panthers next season if at all. They are sinking fast, and I could see Cowher going there. Otherwise I say he stays retired. As far as the pick - trade down if at all possible to acquite multiple picks. Use these picks to rebuild both lines. I don't care if the next Emmit Smith is out there, we will not do anything until we can stand our own ground in the trenches.
As of now i like Chris Long and Gholston but in all honesty i dont think McFadden will be available when we get too pick our guy.
Everybody knows that, but that doesn't mean you have to use your first round pick on a linemen that doesn't fit your system, or if the value isn't there.
