So long as Marquis is treated as a 5th starter or less and not one of the guys in the rotation that we will have to count one than I am fine with it. The deal is good so long as Marquis isn't a pivotal part of our plans. To me we still need 2 starters even with this deal done with the uncertainty of Maine and Niese.

We still need too much to crown Omar yet

I have grown now that I am tired of Pedro, signing him back would be like El Duque all over again.

Got my opening day/weekday package. I'll be selling a few games for face value if anyone is interested. Not great seats but they will be cheap.

The cheapest that are not standing room only.

I know they have "levels" of games. You can have them for whatever I paid.

Let me know which games you can work out 4 tickets for and I will take two games.

When will you receive the tickets so you will know the costs for individul games? If it would be easier for you to work this out closer to the season I am cool with that or if you need to do it now I can do that to.

I will probably go for the cheapest games because my kids are young (4 years old) and I am only exposing them to the live game experience.

    Mets Clubhouse.

Looks rather boring especially compared to the Yankees new clubhouse which looks like it was designed to look like a strip club to make A-Rod feel at home. All that's missing are a stripper pole in the middle of NY and Mystique and Aura doing a lesbian show.

Sheas neon players are highlighted in the shitter

Way to bring over some Shea Stadium design elements Fred.

The Mets clubhouse has a very annoying carpet design. You could almost get a headache looking at it. Please do not post any additional photos of it.

In other Mets news, the Red Sox have new uniforms for the 2009 season. Their new road grays are similar to the ones they wore in Shea Stadium in the 1986 World Series.

I'd like to see the Mets go to an ultra annoying orange alternate jersey. I have a BP one from a few years back but I'd like to see it worn on Sunday home games.

What a great trade. On the surface it's a salary dump. Takes off $3 million for a horrible pitcher. This kid has 382 K's in 305 innings in the minors so who knows he might be decent. Either way that's money the Mets can put towards another player.

Even if it was for a box of donuts it would have been a good trade.
