It's the curse of Nike. I GUARANTEE you someone in the company said, "but wouldn't Cal and WVU have basically the same uni's then?", to which a higher up responded "who cares, they're on opposite sides of the country, no one will notice".

Solid list. I'd probably have Bush at #2 for the start of the 2006 NCAA season - but that's just me. I'd probably also put Leonard and Moss ahead of Hart and Walker for the time being.

I was surprised to read Leonard's report. I felt like they had two of his qualities inverted. He's a good blocker - but I wouldn't classify it as tremendous. However, he's actually quite explosive - having had plays of 20+ yds from scrimmage 20 times. Despite being used as a 3rd and short and goal-line back, he still managed a 4.3 YpR average and had a 10.3 YpC w/ 6 TDs receiving out of the backfield. He's got sick speed for a guy his size (sub 4.50 40-yard) and a rediculous verticle (39") which he's used to break many a play. For example: http://www.scarletknights.com/vision/football/illini05.htm (Fast Forward to 3:10 and enjoy).

Depending on how their season goes, I can see Leonard jumping up to the #2 or #3 RB in the draft. I've been a Rutgers fan forever, and go to the games, and this kid just has the complete package - but is unselfish and accepts a role as the strong half of the two-back set that RU runs, and thus doesn't get the sick stats a single-back RB will produce.

Ok, I'm ranting about Leonard now... sorry :). I just would LOVE to see the Jets nab him in 2007 - assuming he slips down to the 2nd round. This is a guy who's scored 40 TDs in 3 years while averaging 115.5 Yards per Game for what was one of the worst offenses (and worst O-Lines) in the country for his first two non-redshirt years. He's an Academic All American and a 3-time PFW All-American. There's nothing I don't like about this kid.

So far I like Peterson, Lynch, Irons, Russell, and Darby. The others listed I need to see more from in 2006.

I list the WVU and Cal jerseys as two of my favorites in college football. I prefer the WVU ones over Cal.
My friend, a WVU graduate, does not like the current ones. He much preferred the no frills ones that Amos Zereoue wore.

Maybe he failed classes, the grade from the class outside of the school wouldn't help his GPA, but it would remove that poor grade from his GPA, which would help his GPA in the process
