I dont see why people see this as a bad thing, we were trying to trade up to the #10 pick to get this guy and got him here instead, probably saving us a second, 2nd round pick.

I tell you I would rather have Revis than Houston or Olsen and anyone we could have got at the back end of the 2nd round with that other pick.

Chad better win me a SB. To pass on Matt one year then pass on Quinn the next. I know we needed a CB(good pick) but Im not sold on clemens as of yet as our QB after Chad

Wow this FO is Sharp.....Can't believe we got the best corner in the draft. Great...GREAT move jets.

I'm so happy we have some competent folks making the decisions now...

I LOVE the trade and stupid board crashing right at that time.

The 5th and 6th aren't that different in my opinion so we gave up a late second to move up 11 sports in the first round.

Also, I think the guy the Steelers pick was a BIG reach

I'm liking this....we'll trade Barton or something later and get back into the 4th or 5th round. Revis is going to be good.

I'm a Michigan fan too but it's true, Hall has more potential but...he looks like another Philip Buchanon.

the longer i think about it, maybe it?s not that bad of a pick, i really wanted blalock, but i?m ok with how it worked out, hopefully we get Beekman in rd 3.

by the way, Brady Quinn is till on the board. :)

Totally agree with your comment... from 25 to 14 and we really 'only' gave up a number 2. Let's at least see who is available at 25 when we would have picked before slamming our FO. I like the pick and the trade to get it.

i believe it is the 1st of the 2 second round picks....

good move - i wish it could have been for carriker but we have alot of money tied up at DE so maybe next year.......

i think we may see some guys get jettisoned now for some second day picks.....

i am sure the dealing is not done....the guy they may target at the bottom of round 2 may be a receiver.....

  12. Honestly,

Revis is the only real corner in this draft(aside from Wright) who has a chance to be a true shut down corner. In terms of upside in this draft, he is for sure in the top 5. Leon Hall, while polished, is simple put a # 2 corner long term. I would've been FURIOUS if we traded up for him. But Revis, not only can be a helluva man cover corner, but he also is gonna help our return game.
