Revis? we traded up for Revis? i could see going for Leon Hall, but Revis? boy oh boy, i can see this backfiring in so many ways... also IMO this trade was to expensive we gave up 3 picks when we only had 6 now we have no ammo to move up into the mid second round, and we aren't going to get our DL that we needed, plus i think this puts us out of the running for Randy Moss, as we would have to give up another pick for him....

There are options to turn what's now two six round picks into a five.

We barely gave up more than a late 2 to move up 11 places in the first round to get top 10 talent. People still complain. Funny stuff.

seriously you people need to chill out

REVIS >>>>> HALL or any other guy

Revis in my mind will be a definite stud of a CB. i see him stopping some of the best. Hall couldnt stop the best WR's of COLLEGE
and id rather go for revis if carriker wasnt there

Time to trade Vilma, d-rob and anybody else we can to get some picks that will actually get us something we need.

That was a great trade no matter how you slice it. We finally get exactly what we needed -- punt returner and a great standout shut down corner. Point chart it was 1111.8 v. 1055.8 so we actually got a better deal out of this.

  12. Oh it totally favors the Jets. To move up 11 spots like that...it should've cost us at least the # 2 and # 3, possobly both 2's.

We bring in a guy w/ a TON of upside, who will also improve our special teams.

I was not a big fan of initially trading up...but i LOVE this.

According to the nfl.com draft chart we got the better end of the trade...1111.8 to 1050.8

Good trade! for those thinking that the Jets gave away the farm, they are nuts...

Don't forget, we still have a few players we are shopping, so we may get some picks back.

Yeah, we gave all that away and didn't even take the right corner. He probably took some kids lunch money when he was 5.

    Woooow, A 1st 2nd & 5th for Revis & a 6th?

That is a lot for a small CB from Pitt. IMO we took the wrong one but I've only seen Hall, i've never seen Revis play.
Also, I'm a Michigan Fan so there is some Bias.

You haven't seen them both play. Revis is better than Hall. Hall had trouble with future NFL receivers, Revis did not. Revis is also good against the run. He stood out the past couple years in the Big East.

We don't want Moss so get over it, Mangini values Revis higher than Hall so get over that as well, and we don't know what Mangini's plans are for the rest of the draft
