It was reported on SNY earlier that if the Jets were to trade up, the only potential partner would be Pittsburgh at 15, and it would be for Revis. Revis and Hall are still on the board at #13. We may have the ammo to get the top CB in the draft. Do we pull the trigger? Of course Branch and Carriker are available too.
The AFC East will now officially have the best RB's in one division, period. Is that a good thing, or no?
Marshawn is good, but I don't think he'll be as good as either Maroney or Brown. Nice, tough runner, but he's not a game breaker.
I'll be the guy to raise the hypothetical -- if Quinn falls to 25... do we take him? As for Olsen... Bubba Franks is ancient... GB BETTER FUCKING TAKE OLSEN!
Wow. How is Branch against the run. I'm not high on him, but we're going to need a serious run stuffer now.
It's just about overall team speed and athleticism. I can tell a huge difference between ND and many of the other top college teams when it comes to team speed and overall athleticism. Maybe I am way off, but it seems USC's 4th string RB would start for ND. I just happen think Quinn is getting a bad wrap for losing to USC and in a couple bowl games.
They always seem to get run on by Buffalo. Cookie Gilchrist, O.J. Simpson, Thurman Thomas, Travis Henry, and Willis McGahee all put it on New York's ass plenty of times. Joe Cribbs probably ripped the Jets apart a few times, too.
It's the logical pick being that their unsatisfied with Rogers. However, with Favre still around, they'r in win now mode. What will Favre's reaction be to them using 2 1st round picks on QBs rather than bring in guys that can help him win now.
Grubbs would definitely be a nice pick. Filling 3/5 of your OLINE in back to back drafts and able to have these guys for the next 7-10 years would be awesome.
Good pickup for the Bills, they need a RB, sucks for us to face him twice a year but he's no Ted Ginn Jr.
