Hes referring to the fans not the teams. U a Met fan r in a thread where other Met fans could see the strike zone getting squeezed.

Bottom line is it all comes down to A Rod... he makes the money so he gets the blame IMO... MVP Most Valuable Preseason

The difference is that if A-Rod could have overcome a 0-3 day while at the plate with a runner at 2nd everyone would forget the pop out n strike outs. Expect him to get it bad if the Yanks trail at home and he K's after his first AB

Jake Westbrook and Paul Byrd are pitching the next 2 games, of course the Yankees aren't out of it.

I was watching the game. There was nothing egregious with the calls.

Again, I almost never argue balls and strikes. The only time I recall having a problem with a call was a John Franco ball against Pittsburgh in 1999 that was incorrectly called a strike and won the game for the Mets.

You're such a dope... Last time I checked baseball was a team game... I love how guys like you blame everything on A Rod who really hasn't had a great pitch it hit... try learning the game before making more stupid analysis... and your moms a bitch

I have to say this, and I do it at the risk of someone chalking it up to Yankee-Red Sox trashtalking (by the way, the Sox are losing, if it helps). But, I don't mean it that way:

ARod's lack of success in the post-season has gone way beyond the realm of overblown myth. Before tonight, I just looked at it like a convenient way to needle about a player I hate. Now, I'm just convinced that the guy freezes in playoff primetime. With his regular season stats, that's just amazing! At this point, the only hits that will mean anything for him will be rbi hits after the 6th inning that tie or break a tie.

It means that members of the fanbases most likely to be biased against the Yankees agreed that the strike zone was highly inconsistent. My logic is unassailable. But it doesn't matter since you can't help but reply with some inane retort.

You can say that about most of the Yankee lineup, but only Arod is getting killed for it

As a Met fan, and Yankee ambivalent, I thought AROD choking was a myth ---but he is proving to the world it is a fact.

Arod was so good this year, the playoffs no one has hit, they've gone up against great pitching. I know history says he sucks in the playoffs but I think if he had a few more rounds he would start hitting again.

I think we're still within the realm of the small sample size for A-Rod and his postseason struggles. I'm not motivated enough to do it myself but it would be interesting to see how A-Rod fared against the specific pitchers in the regular season vs the playoffs to see if there's anything to it.
