You really have to wonder if there could be some games that are actually blacked out. We haven't ever seen that here (I don't think) but other markets deal with it all the time. Even a bigger possibility next year when the PSLs have to be paid.

I called the Jets today and asked what the deal was with the half season passes and was told it's 5 games and 1 of them IS a pre-season game at face value(there $8 on stub hub). Also it "gives you a chance to get playoff tickets if/when the Jets get there" and that it DOES NOT count towards tickets being on the gaurantee season pass list next year. Which is really what I want. I think as of right now unless they guarantee season tickets for next year I will just by the tickets to the games I really want to go to.

Buy Mezz Season Tickets Now for New Stadium Seat Purposes.

Jets are selling a nine game only mezz ticket package now for $1,035 a seat, was $1,150 a seat for ten games, you only have to buy Eagles Pre-season game. Why do I say this. Well when they get to calling 2009 Season Ticket Holders it works like this, it is based on day you bought tickets and section. So they call the handfull of people in front row club in date order than move to mezz in date order, than lower sideline, then upper prime, then corners etc. etc. So the person who bought mezz tickets today will be among the first person called for season tickets or PSLs when they get to 2009 season ticket holders. The people in the upper corners even if they bought on 6-7-09the day 2009 tickets went on sale would be last. Remember, Mezz has only 11 rows, lower has around 40 and upper around 40. The guy in the best seat upstairs with most senority picks his seat after the other 51 rows. Ouch. If you are a cheapo get parking pass for $200 and sell on ebay for $350 and then set Pats tickets for $600. That will bring you eight game package in the Mezz down to $660 for each season ticket and give you a shot at the new stadium.

It's true. Some dude called me from the Jets saying they had season tickets as low as $600 (likely upper endzone) a seat for 9 games including the last preseason game. If I didn't buy a home I can't afford last year, I would be tailgating with you this season.

    Row One Seats

Yea the guy from Jets actually told me when he told the guy giving up his first row sidelines between the 40s seat cause he was mad as heck he had to buy a PSL that he did not have to give up his seats this year as PSls aren't to 2010 he yelled I don't want to give one more stinkin nickle to the Jets.

Day One back on June 9th, there were around 10 pairs lower sidelines between row 1-20 between the 30's. There was a row one end zone and a row one sideline Mezz. Some amazing tickets that fans gave up. Yea I can see the stinky tickets. But the front ten rows lower sideline, come on now, you just gotta be mad, those are 30+ year season ticket holders.

Gordan at least you get to go on field and get a nice book. I got nothing. The people who are new season ticket holders but before the 20% off date even got screwed, course nothing like a 20 year season ticket holder who was not even offered to move down and me and you are sitting in front of that is just plain wrong.

Yeah all NY teams relocating lately are completely messed up. The owners are too greedy and they think they can keep raising prices without any pushback. Well there is a limit and we've gotten there. So the die hard long time fans who overpaid are watching joe six pack walk off the street and getting a better deal. It's really not cool

hmm i wonder if they didnt stop letting you guys upgrade in order to be able to offer better seats to "new" people as they have a better chance to sell those 2nd row between the 40s seats than they do row 30 at the 30.

The one four letter word that will burn this Jets this year is EBAY. Go on there and type in Jets season tickets. You can get a full season for below face on there. How can the Jets sell season tickets at face when you can get them on ebay below?

    EBAY Jets Tickets

True, but bottom line, Jets are now selling half season tickets and their 9 seat season ticket plan includes the right to go on field and meet jets, the nice book and Jet tickets in your name with Playoff rights and a shot at tickets next year. Jets blindsided ebay and stubhub holders by pricing season tickets below cost right from box office. Resellers have to beat below cost.

Yes they tricked existing season ticket holders to stay put while they sell better seats. But brother in law did tell me they did upgrade seats to any existing ticket holder who bought a PSL, the rest I gues are deadbeats. Better to put a brand new season ticket holder in a great seat who may buy a PSL than an existing season ticket holder who has already refused.

Big issue is now people know you can sell Mezz tickets for more than face at 115 for most games who is going to buy a Mezz PSL for 20K with 400 tickets. Every game you can't go to there is no way you can get anywhere near 400 when you can't even get face in most seats in mezz this year.

I bet they offer deals on PSLs next year. Even worse season tickets holders who dropped off after 25 years won't be offered the deal.

It will be worse next year when people actually have to pay for PSLs and tickets go up 700%. See how many are available then...it will be like a post-Christmas 90% off sale.

    Single Game Tickets

Betcha after Eagles Games they start selling single ticket games. They may wait till after Pats game as they will have lots of players and media requests for tickets. But they will do it. Betcha they offer free train to game tickets or parking or something like that to get last three games to sell.

They won't sell single ticket eagles games unti after eagles as they will tip off any potential half season ticket holders they might as well wait and just buy games they want.

In Newsday today Jets officially quoted as they will not sell single season tickets this year, I am betting they are lying.
