BTW, I thought I remember someone's wife making some triangle taco thingies that MB couldn't quit eating last year. Am I wrong on this? Sounds like a porno.

I'll bring a couple of extra chairs for the CanadiCalifornian, just to piss off Shrek.

Yes, you can take the chairs I was bringing for MBGreen and Iggy. Your father can sit in one, and prop his legs up on the other, as the two from the left coast and great white north look on in envy.

Seriously, I'll have 4 and from all of the tailgates I've been to, folks are rarely sitting, so I'm sure that chairs will be in abundance.

KOZ, this is great, I have a disc out in my back and will need to have a seat from time to time; please put my name on one. A nice fluffy cushion would be appreciated too.

I have a beat up campin chair that I plan on bringing. None of you guys can sit on it though because I plan on sitting the whole fuckin time and being served beers and delicious treats from all of you.

And I will be the only one not wearing a jersey so Ill be easy to find

All right, shitheads. Thanks to all of your lovely advice, I managed to get the hotel to cancel our reservation without any fees. Since bedbug-ridden Elmhurst was such a shithole, give me an idea of where we SHOULD be staying.

I would pick any hotel on Paterson Plank Road off of Rt 17 in the Rutherford/Hasbrouck Heights area. You'll have a 5 minute drive into the stadium, just rent a car

Depends, do you still want to stay near LGA on account of the Canadian's arrival and the fact that you'll be @ JFK?

Iggy and I are flying into JFK and LaGuardia respectively.....finding a hotel in the vicinity between the 2 airports would be ideal.

I can recommend Bayside NY as a definite place worthy of consideration. Very convenient to and from the airports, young and hip, tons of bars and restaurants, and it's not Elmhurst.

I'm sure that the Queens' guys will second this recommendation.

Guys- I'm being serious when I say Bayside- I could recommend a place in Nassau County which is convenient for both of you, but you'd be bored out of your minds after 5 minutes in the room.

    Manhattan, Astoria, southwestern Brooklyn, etc.
I would try for something right in Manhattan if you could. I would have booked another room before canceling. I was only breaking balls about Elmhurst. But, spending an extra bit of money to stay in a better, more convenient, location is not a bad idea.

I really don't want to be catching an 11 AM flight out of JFK leaving from NJ.
