You have to wait for your turn. we are still at the HATE stage. We will let you know when we come to the RESPECT stage. Champ I won't ignore you. That will give you an immense power. Who are you to make me do something. I won't give that power to you. And hey Chill Look at things from a different angle. You can still see some good stuff. Life is not all misery.
If U do not choose the ignore feature then prepared to be constantly upset since your views on the NYJs & my views are apples & oranges. NYJ life is miserable & will continue IMHO to be miserable at least for the next 5/7 years Very  when it comes to the NYJs for now & the forseeable future
Problem is which U blindly cannot see is the the NYJs have been rebuilding for 44 years so far with zero results
Instead of 15 minutes of fame, you get your one post. That's it for you 17A. Some day 17A Jr. will ask the moderator to merge this thread with his new thread raging on the new Woody Johnson Stadium built where the old Liberty State Park used to be.
17A is respeced because he is organizing the event for Pats Hater. I was new on this forum when he passed away. I saw 17A's efforts for Pats Haters family. I respect him a lot. No 17A didn't pay me for writing these. I hope I can tailgate with him once I get my Season Tickets from Stubhub later this summer. I will bring my 7 year old twin boys and hopefully we will have a blast because their uncle 17A will teach them what it means to be a Jets fan. I will keep my boys away from the likes of Champ and SOJF's. /ass kissing completed. I think I now deserve a gift.
I have something monumental to announce tomoorow. It's what I have been preaching all along (for some time now), but it's probably not what you expected, and not what you expected me to do. It will piss off some. And it will encourage others to do as I have stated what needs to be done with these assholes.
Sounds like you're gonna go the stubhub route first four games, and if they suck blow off the rest of the season. That way you don't have to buy tix for six games no one wants to go to.
I'm waiting… I haven't paid yet. This was to be my 35th season ticket year. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do, but I think I'm going to let the deadline pass to see what they do to rope me back. I am living 3.5 miles from the stadium now, so in theory I can go each week and if I can't get a decent ticket, return home in time to watch on TV. Even if I sit out a season and lose my seniority, I'm confident I can buy back in next year. Although the seats won't be as good, (I have row 2) it'll still be in the shitty upper deck, where nothing is "that great' anyway. The one advantage they have to convince me to stay is that I have three seats, and I know getting three seats together for games on the secondary market won't be easy.
I Have Arrived... Everyone knows that I have been playing hardball with the ticket office. And I stuck to my guns. I called a month ago and told them I was not renewing unless I got an upgrade from Row 2 (on the 10-yard line). They kept telling me there is probably nothing they can do to upgrade good UD Prime seats like that and so I told them, "well then, this will be my last season." So then they said they would make a note in my file and call me before renewal, but that I could lose my seats if I don't renew and I said "Fine." So I had an unsolicited call last week from the Jets... I mentioned it here. It was not a call that I initiated. And the guy tells me he is "my new rep for this season." And he's telling me I should pay my invoice and he'll see what he can do about the upgrade. And I told him, "Listen, nothing against you... you sound like a really nice guy, but I've been down this road before and I don't want to pay the invoice until I see an upgrade." So he says, "Well, there probably won't be much that opens up but I will call you again before the 15th. So he calls me again yesterday afternoon. And he asks me what kind of upgrade I want from Row 2, 10-yard line. And I tell him I want Row 1 and I want close to the 50. And the conversation goes the same way... "Nothing available now and I highly doubt anything will open up that's better than your Row 2s." Then he tells me AGAIN... "Why don't you pay your invoice and I'll work on this for you and see if I can get you an upgrade?" And I tell him the same thing. This was at 3:00 PM and he tells me there's still nothing available better than Row 2, 10-yard line. So I tell him, "Well, why don't you call me if someting comes up before the 15th." AND AGAIN.. he says he is checking right now and nothing is available. I said, okay, well then, we'll have to see. That was at 3:00 PM. At 3:12 PM my phone rings again and it's the same guy. "Okay, Mr. XXXXXX.... when I got off the phone, one of my colleagues overheard our conversation and told me somebody just released 4 in ROW 1, 40-yard line. And the fucking seats are on the aisle! I nearly fell off my chair. So I go online while he's on the phone and I look up the StubHub Stadium Map and yeah... there are the seats... ROW 1, 40-yard line and on the aisle. So I jump on it and tell him hell yes. I caled him back this morning, which is what he wanted me to do, and I gave him my CC for the quarterly payment ($5254 divided by 4, whatever that is... $1300 and change). And the $5254 includes the Yellow Parking. So now I finally got the seats that I wanted all along from way back... way back when they first announced the new stadium. With my seniority and section, I figured I would want (and be able to get) Row 1s around the 50. And now I have them and I am thrilled to death! You guys who are UD and who have NOT paid your invoice... call them immediately. There is beaucoup movement right now. TODAY! Somebody can jump on my Row 2s, 10-yard line. They are still great seats. CALL THEM NOW!
OMG what have I done? Now I have buyer's remorse. I just figured out $5254 divided by 8 "meaningful games" is $656.75. Each ticket is $164.19. I'm so fucked it's ridiculous. And this team is going to suck. Really suck.
my preference is to be in a row 5. i never want to pay $125 per tix. just too much for me for the uppers especially with the 2 preseason games.
