Actually we took elevators up and down the past two season lol. They let me off right by my seats and I was wheelchaired up and my dad had the cane so it was never an issue. Otherwise yes getting into this stadium is a pain in the ass. The entire stadium sucks actually but I just forced myself to get over it I guess. Got bigger things in life to get angry over. I've been to Yankee Stadium but haven't gone since last August before my accident I had down the shore. While they have a lot more elevators and better upper deck access it's also another shopping mall. I've been to Citifield as well and it's nice but from NJ it's a hike. Problem is every sports team in the area has gotten a new stadium within the past several years (Jets, Giants, Nets, Devils, Islanders in another year or two, Yankees, Mets) and there's no wow factor anymore. New stadiums aren't a big deal to anyone.
Yep so in a way he is also a de facto STHer since he has been sitting in those seats for all those years. I tried to convince him to get his own but he liked the seats & decided to keep 2 of those FR UD seats insead of holding tix in his own name :sad:
I didn't know the NYJs had de facto STHers. I'm looking all over the website and can't find out where you sign up to become a de facto STHer. Oh well.
Well that's good. I guess by law they had to have some elevators tucked away for people requiring assistance. Did you need special permission to use them, or are they available for regular folks who seek them out? The first preseason game in 2010 I searched for elevators, and asked the staff who were clueless. Then I found a staff guy who said the elevators were for suite access only. So, to say there aren't many elevators in the stadium is a false statement. They are primarily for the suites.

Should have my post more carefully as I said because he has been in the same seats for over 20 years he actually a STH via me even though he himself does not own any STH so he is a unknown to the NYJs :sad:
Probably the sad face will depart I estimate 5/8 years or so from now when we are a real, true contending team maybe if the new GM does things right. If not it will be another 44 years or more in the wilderness:sad:

So U R on the right track about me the ONLY repeat ONLY thing that warrants talking about is WINNING THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. Nothing else matters. So while the Pat win was nice & made me happy the next week I just went back into my NYJ depression which I have been suffering from since 01/13/69. So anything about the NYJs that I reply to will be of that mind set. Sorry if you do not like my SB or bust theory but it is what it is. :sad:

Nah I hated him first but I don't hate him now. Just trying to understand. And he is a senior and I will always show him respect but he pushes me to the edge with his negativeness. 17A and 227 are the ones I respect a lot.
trust me there is no understanding champ. i havent seen a post of his in a few weeks but i believe his stance is that anything that does not end in a vince lombardi trophy is bad and makes him sad... which is why he uses the frown smiley. i am willing to bet that 20 or 30 years ago when he could actually get a nut off his ohhhhhhh face probably looked like this....

Cmon now I am the easiest person to under stand because I am not a wishy washy fan like 99.9 % of the posters on this forum. I am a stand up guy who has said over, over & over again that EVERY season we fail to win the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP is a unsuccessful season. No exceptions whatsoever to this mantra for me at least. No cpulda, woulda shoulda like the NY junc post all the time. The year end standings do not matter all that matter is winning the SB. Getting to the AFCCG does not matter if you lose it as we did 2 years in a row. The frown smiley comes for 44 years of unsuccessful FB with 45,46,47,48, 49 & even 50 years of unsuccessful FB on the future horizon. Actually with all the back & forth we have had I was really shocked to see your post which I chalked up to a huge brain fart since I thought for sure you knew my mind set concerning the NYJs :sad:
He's never funny and if we don't win the Super bowl, the season sucked. When you are suppose to be real good, nothing short of a super bowl win matters, I agree with that. But when you are rebuilding like we are, you can't think like that. Intelligent fans have to be realistic, if we are 8-8 this year and are competitive in most games and find us a QB, most fans will be very happy. Champ is not an intelligent fan so if we don't win a super bowl this year, we suck and sad face gets posted. I am saying all of this without seeing his post because its the same thing over and over and over.
