Yes that Dannie would never have achieved those records if us/the Pats/Colts/Bills all stunk to high heaven during his career. The same applies to 9-6 games etc, etc, etc
Well during the Hess era I passed out flyers to boycott Hess gas to NYJ fans as they enter the stadium @ gate A. So instead of BSing in this forum start a movement to embrass WJ if U & the other complainers have the guts. U know the old adage nothing ventured nothing gained. U R aware at this moment as I see it with ALL the players we need that means U have to have faith for 7 to 10 years before we are again true contenders. I will just give U some of the players required QB RB WRs OLman TE DLMan who can scare the opposing QB LBers
Also U may have not wanted to dig into the how incompetant the NYJ organization is but I was not fooled & posted over & over again about it but your listening ears were not on I guess. Instead U call me pessimisstic among other names. So maybe one of these days you will stop smelling the NYJ catnip & wake up & smell the roses.
Actually U know MHO of U is your eyes & ears are totally closed when it come to the NYJs. If you think I am incorrect on Dannie why not do a total W-L on us, Colts, Bills, Pats & then U may just understand what I am saying. lets hope that occurs
The Week 16 San Francisco 49ers-Seattle Seahawks game on Sunday, Dec. 23 will be played at 8:20 PM ET on NBC's "Sunday Night Football", the NFL announced today. The San Diego Chargers-New York Jets game, originally scheduled for Sunday night, will move to 1:00 PM ET on CBS and the New York Giants-Baltimore Ravens game will move to 4:25 PM ET on FOX. If that makes anyone happy that game is now at 1pm and not a night game! I like it alot better....but night games are fun!
it makes me happy. I love 1pm games. Now lets hope we win Monday and the steelers and Bengals lose so we have a big game at home. I think we suck and don't think we are going to the playoff, but as a STH, I just want a meaningful home game in December and it could happen.
AFC East champions with records from 1984-1999 when Marino retired. 1987 was the strike season and 1993 he missed most of the season with the achilles injury. The Bills went to 4 straight Super Bowls in the 80's and 90's so I would think that would mean they were pretty good even though they lost all four. 1984 Miami Dolphins 14–2–0 Lost Super Bowl XIX 1985 Miami Dolphins 12–4–0 Lost AFC Championship Game 1986 New England Patriots 11–5–0 Lost AFC Divisional Playoffs 1987 Indianapolis Colts 9–6–0 Lost AFC Divisional Playoffs 1988 Buffalo Bills 12–4–0 Lost AFC Championship Game 1989 Buffalo Bills 9–7–0 Lost AFC Divisional Playoffs 1990 Buffalo Bills 13–3–0 Lost Super Bowl XXV 1991 Buffalo Bills 13–3–0 Lost Super Bowl XXVI 1992 Miami Dolphins 11–5–0 Lost AFC Championship Game 1993 Buffalo Bills 12–4–0 Lost Super Bowl XXVIII 1994 Miami Dolphins 10–6–0 Lost AFC Divisional Playoffs 1995 Buffalo Bills 10–6–0 Lost AFC Divisional Playoffs 1996 New England Patriots 11–5–0 Lost Super Bowl XXXI 1997 New England Patriots 10–6–0 Lost AFC Divisional Playoffs 1998 New York Jets 12–4–0 Lost AFC Championship Game 1999 Indianapolis Colts 13–3–0 Lost AFC Divisional Playoffs
Well a few hours ago I received a call from my rep offering me "Happy Holidays". So I thanked him for the greetings & wish him Happy Holidays in return & I told him if he sees Woody to tell him from a STH since 65 that they still stink & Woody should get qualified people into the organization at all levels
I guess you really don't read other people's posts fully, you just form your opinion on what you think the person means? In my post I said " Now lets HOPE we win Monday and the steelers and Bengals lose so we have a big game at home" In addition, I said I know we suck. I can't make it any clearer. Do you need help in understanding what the word Hope means? See, I actually go to the games, I have an emotional investment. I don't but tickets to say I am a STH since XX amount of years and then sit on my high horse and act like the my shit don't stink.. I buy tickets because I love football. I want a reason to go.. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Hope
When it comes to the NYJs I never use the word hope since they have been losers now for 43 years & hanging by a hair in making it 44 years
Whoopee a exception to the rule but I noticed there was zero notice by U about the NYJs during that period
7 to 10 years????? How do come up with that ridiculous amount of time? Teams rebuild quickly in the NFL. Nobody knows anything past 2-3 years from now. There is no fing way you know what the Jets will be like 3-4 years from now let alone 10 years. How do you justify or back up that statement? Who will be the coach and GM 10 years from now? The QB? 10 years ago was the 2002 season and Pennington had just emerged as a QB, the Jets won the division and made the playoffs and thrashed Manning's Colts 41-0 in the first round. How could you predict what the 2012 Jets would look like back in 2002?
Duh it calls experience especially the NYJs who I have followed now for 50 some odd years. With the amount of quality players they need 7/10 years is really in my HO a early estimate. To become a winner U need a top notch organization from top to bottom & hopefully your NYJ glasses are not dark enough to see that the NYJs are anything but a top notch organization cause if they were we would have secured 6 or more SB wins by now Just thinks a STHer who bought tix for the next 7 upcoming season & bought 4 UD tix U will have pissed away 35Gs to watch stinky FB. If it goes to 10 years then U up the ante to 50Gs
Champ, this whole ridiculous argument started when I said the Jets/Colts played a lot of 9-6 games back in the 90's before Peyton. How you made it about Marino and etc... should be studied by scholars and such. You are in another universe. You are about one thing, the Jets have sucked since you saw them win the Super Bowl. That's all you have to say over and over and over regardless of what is posted. You are beyond getting old and most time you are wrong... see above.
