I looked on stubhub earlier and I already saw a pair of upper deck tickets going for $88 a ticket for the home opener. It's 3 months away and it's the home opener and there are already a couple tickets below face. The Jets haven't even sold single game tickets yet thru ticketmaster. This ought to be interesting.
When 314 gives me 5 reasons of how the NYJs improved themselves enough to overtake the NEPs this year I will certainly calm down Maybe you do not understand that I am trying to find out from someone who is so gung-ho about the NYJs what he sees is so positive for him to make all those positive posts beyond just "believing"
Why would the Jets have to overtake the Patriots to go to or win the superbowl? A team doesn't have to win their division to get there. they just need to get to the playoffs and anything can happen once you get there.
Continue to live in NYJ la-la land If U cannot figure out why then U are not a FB mavin as well
Not saying that the Jets are superbowl contenders. Only saying that if a team just gets to the playoffs anything can happen. Hasn't a 6th seed in a conference won the superbowl recently...? Also, didn't the Jets beat the Patriots a couple years ago in the playoffs? And, if I remember correctly, the Patriots had won the division that year, not the Jets. You seemed obsessed with the Jets NEEDING to overtake the Patriots. I'm saying that is not a requirement. It's not always the best team that wins a particular game. Just the best team on that day. So no, I am not in la la land. Will the Jets go to the superbowl? Probably not. But why try to squash someone's optimism? There are 32 other teams out there with fans hoping that their team will get there. Why should Jets fans be any different? You keep bringing up the fact that the last time the Jets won a superbowl was 42 years ago. Well there are teams that have never won a superbowl. You know what? Who cares...we route for our teams because we are fans. We love the game of football and we love our NYJ's. Why do you still even watch the games if you are so disgusted by the team? (That's a rhetorical question so no response expected) I think everyone of your posts ends with  Why subject yourself to such  -ness and then put down other posters for being and hopeful....
The day I stop believing is the day I give up my tickets. My last word on this because its getting boring. I truly believe that Champ has painted himself into corner to where he will root against the Jets so his predictions hold true. That's sad and pathetic. And if we are a winning team, I will remind him of it every Monday. Hey # 1 Jets Fan, you are wasting your time trying to argue with the guy, he's thick headed with the Pats comparison. Just let it go, I am
I think U just do not get it! If U do not WIN the SB U have had a most unsuccessful season plain & simple. In sports there are no room for losers only champions. That is why U are living in NYJ la-la land. Just reread your own post & you can how silly you really are
1.Draft choices Quinton Coples, Demario Davis and maybe even Antonio Allen or Josh Bush will be injected into the defense, instantly making the unit younger and faster. Improved speed will make this defense elite. 2. Tebow - didn't have him last year. If the Jets use Tebow on third-down packages, they could see an increase in their conversions. While Tebow isn't going to be expected to convert on third-and-long, you'd have to think he has a decent chance to convert anything three yards or shorter. 3.This year with Tony Sparano in charge, you can forget about the days of Sanchez dropping back 50 times in a game. 4.Westhoff never really endorsed the performance of T.J. Conley, and Nick Folk was inconsistent at best. The team jumped on kicker Josh Brown after he was made expendable when the Rams drafted a kicker in the sixth round and invited kicker Brody McKnight to camp. They undoubtedly will have a keen eye on punters around the league as well. The awful performance of the 2011 Jets special teams was hopefully an aberration and was atypical of a Westhoff unit. Expect them to bounce back in 2012. 5. Schedule - What seems to be beneficial to the Jets is that they have less prime-time games than they have had the past two years and are currently slated for nine, 1 PM Sunday games.
I think U need a shrink to analyze U if U really believe what U posted since U never have met me so you have NOT the slightest idea of my thinking & why I post what I post. I've read many a silly post on this forum but this one goes right up in top 5 of the silliest post EVER!
Ok. You're right. I'm silly. I guess that's better than being sad all the time. Wow...so every year there are 31 teams who had an unsuccessful season. That's disappointing. Why bother watching then...I guess I won't. Thanks Champ! ...uuhh...sorry. I meant
Without going into details & presuming U live in Palm Beach County FL like I used to i would 1st take my nose out of the NYJs asses & 2 stay out of the hot FL sun since that sun is frying your brain
Yes that is totally correct 31 teams each & every year have a unsuccessful season or as Packer said a failed season referring to last season I give some kudos for maybe catching on however
1. you have no clue what you're talking about if you think Stuart, FL is in Palm Beach County. It's in Martin County. 2. I live in NYC
If it was not so important why would our HC plead with the rest of the league to beat the Pats. You do remember that from last year?
I'm sad for what I for see is forth coming this year for the NYJs nothing more nothing less. How I feel about the NYJs does not in the least translate into how I feel in my daily life. You are aware are U not that the NYJs have been losers now for 43 years & counting?
Well I'd rather be a bit more optimistic and not  all the time when talking about the Jets. Until they are out of playoff contention they still have a shot no matter how slim it may be. Stranger things have happend and on any given sunday... At least we did win one. It could be worse. We could be one of the teams who never won one: Vikings Bills Bengals Eagles Titans Chargers Falcons Panthers Cardinals Seahawks Browns Texans Jaguars Lions If you're sad about it being 43 years since we won one, your counterparts on these other teams must be suicidal. They'd probably love to have the high upper deck in their stadium...they could use it to jump off... Bottom line, as Jets fans we know it's a long shot that the Jets will win a superbowl this year. It's a long shot for the overwhelming majority of teams outside of the handfull of "elite" teams. Until they are 100% out of contention we will hope and cheer. What exactly is wrong with that? It does not mean anyone is living in la la land....it's called being a fan and hoping for the best for your team.
