To borrow the "bar" pun from an earlier post, I wish they had less bars in our viewing field and just one or two inside the concourse for us to "hang" during monsoons. And I don't want to hear that Captain Morgan lounge is an acceptable bar. They could have done SO much better. Another example of what they missed out on building this place.

So... as of right now, here goes from left to right as you are looking up from the field: 334 has 2 in Row 8, seats 5&6 335 still has 2 in Row 9, 9&10 and 3 in R10, 3,4&5, plus 3 on the aisle R12, 1,2,3 336 3 in R12 337 zip below 17 338 same thing 339 zip below 17 340 zip below 15 341 two sets of 2 in R12 342 2 in R9, seats 9&10 also 3 in Row 3 Prime 343 4 in R8, 9-12 also 2 and 4 in Row 2 Prime 344 2 and 4 in R6, multiples in Prime 1-4 There are 4 together in 342, Row 9 and 10 have seats 9&10. A party of four could piggyback there.
I don't think it had anything to do with you. The rep said that people from earlier time slots pick seats just before the next slot opens. The difference between what I have and these seats is three rows and from what I hear I am joining a TGG zone in 341. Calling doesn't do much . I tried that just before I locked in. What drove me nuts is that with 30 seconds to go before my time slot opened, the person took only one of the two seats in 336 Row 8. I guess that gave them the ability to "shop around" a little. What I don't get is why a person from an earlier time slot would wait until 9:29:30 to pick seats. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter. The only thing I would like to change about the process is that seniority should play a larger role than seat location. One of the big issues I have with the way the Jets handled the UD is that seniority counts for very little up there. And that is not right. They should reinstitute seniority and let us officially pass our tickets on to our family members. We are still investing in the team financially, emotionally, and with our time and those of us who have been doing that for decades should still be accorded some favored status by the Jets.
What I have now is better than anything available. Are you able to see because you are still in your 72 hour window and didn't move?

I agree with this statement. First, they started off with seniority ONLY, which is the way it should be. So the initial calls in June 2009 (well... except for the fact that they LOST the records going way back) were by seniority only. Okay fine. I fell in line with 1985. Now they say they're going by seniority AND seat placement with this process. Why change? You're moving the goal posts! Nobody knows what to expect. SOOOO, I think you have a legit complaint and you should do like 17a has been advocating since Day One, call the shit out of the Ticket Office. I happen to know for a fact 17a has the ticket office phone number on robocall. "Hello. This is 17a. I have seniority and I need an upgrade. Please have my rep call me immediately. Thank you."
