I paid for 1/4 of my STH's last week. I just found out I am being laid off. Between getting laid off and the prospect of that religous freak Tebow coming to the Jets, I am thinking of getting out. I wonder how I can get my $1050 back and cancel? I might have to eat it? Tell my bank to reject anymore ACH from NJY and then fight. Just waiting on Tebow to make my move. Never root for this team as long as he's a Jet if he is.

    I just called the jets:

Acted as if I was a new person trying to buy PSl.

He said they will sell out in 3 days from the NEW News "Tebow", I asked if there was a waiting list for LLEZ he tried to get me tickets. Then I was like just take my Tickets back I dont want them now Tebow suck!!

He was like we cant do it.

Basically they think Tebow will help sell tickets.

    WHAT A JOKE

Okay... yes, I have some news. And I am in the same boat as you (have NOT paid my invoice yet).

I called the ticket office and gave them my account number. The girl looked it up and I asked if they had a chance to look at my upgrade request yet.

"Well," she says, "has anyone explained what we are doing this spring? We're really excited about it... it's something new."

SO of course I ask her to explain. "In May, we're going to be contacting everyone who has renewed. You'll be contacted according to your seniority and the section you're in, then you'll have an opportunity to go online and see what's available. If there are any seats you see that you like better, then you'll be able to move up. We're doing this so that we don't have people moving and then wanting to move again and again."

So it sounds like, from my understanding, you will be given a one shot opportunity to look at availability. They will call first. You cannot just go on in any order. she said with current location and my seniority, I will be called and then I can go look.

So I said, "Okay... so it sounds like I have to pay my invoice first, right?" and of course she answered that affirmatively. "So when is the last day I can pay my invoice" I ask. "April 1st" she says. So I have another week to shit or get off the pot.

This sounds like yet another ploy... a very clever one at that, because none of us ever had teh opprtunity to go look at the inventory... ever! But now she is saying that will be the case. But it sounds like it is going to be very limited, with maybe a timeframe attached. in other words, you have 24 hours to make your choice (I'm guessing). And you call them back and if it's still there, you can move.

But what's preventing them from doing the same fucking thing they did before? Suppose I go online and the entire Primes are marked "sold out" and so is everything between the 30s for Rows 1-16? In other words, there's nothing preventing them from pulling the same fucking scam....telling us everything is sold out and "Oh well, we did our best to help you relocate, but I guess nothing is available as an upgrade for you."

Meanwhile they have all the better rows On Hold b/c they know at the end (during July and Aug) they can put fresh meat into those seats, and offering them no Preseasons if they have to to get them sold.

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't trust these dirtbags as far as I can throw them. I think anyone looking for an upgrade now is fucked, especially with the Tim Tebow fucking fiasco muddying things up but good.

I may have to pay my invoice next week... or maybe I'll walk. Don't know yet. Scumbags.

BTW, I asked her specifically if the date on which you paid your invoice got you any closer to the beginning of the line for the callbacks for the online seat-searching fiasco.

"No," she said. "It wouldn't be fair becasue some people are out of town, etc. So we are going by your current seats and your seniority." "So it doesn't matter whether I pay right now or wait until March 31st, right?" I ask. "That;'s right, " she says.

Same boat. I was leaning towards another year, but now with the Tebow circus coming to town, maybe not. All the moves this off-season have me wondering yet again if they have any real plan. Sadly, I don't think so....

    We've been Tebowed.

Do any of the coaching staff really think the now-outdated "wildcat" is going to scare Bill Belichick or anyone else? Really? Like DEFs can't spot it and see it coming, just like whenever we used to put Brad Smith in the lineup? Okay, so he can line up as a fullback or TE, whatever. He's a good athlete, no question, so maybe his value is in that.

But I fully expect to hear "Tebow! Tebow" after Mark Sanchez does his very first 3 and out on opening day. This is going to be chaos, both on the field and off.

I see it as a desperate play by the FO... this can't be a coaching decision. This was a marketing decision from Woody on down because his ticket sales are zilch and this is the only way he can pull it out.

So we piss away more draft picks which we sorely need right now instead of getting Sanchez the O-line protection he needs and all for the luxury of having Tebow sit on the bench listening to "Tebow, Tebow" behind him. This wasn't a football decision, this was a FO sales decision to boost dismal, dwindling, overpriced ticket sales in a shitty stadium nobody wanted or needed in the first place.

Seriously man, I don't mean to make light of your unfortunate situation. Try to look on the bright side and ask yourself where you'd be if you had a PSL.

Okay, first, I'd call the Jets and tell them you're being laid off. Then you have to offer to give them back any incentive they gave you in the first place for the quarterly payments thing. And then tell them it's going to be impossible to make any more payments for the tickets now and you'd like a refund on what you've paid already.

Maybe... just maybe, they will understand and give it to you. Maybe.

They dont care!! I tried that with my PSL. I told him to take 4 back since the Jets raised the price from 2500 to 4000 each and they would be making money. Im like they are row 20 you can easily sell them if you claim the section is sold out. Hes like sorry we cant do it.

Im like you fucking suck at life remember that your a jets psl sales man!

    I hate those fuckers

Why would they take them back, you are the one that bought them and signed a contract for them?

When you buy a car from a dealership do you ask them to take the car back after 2 years of owning it?

i couldnt agree more that this was a marketing move plain and simple.. tannenbagel is starting to really remind me of dan snyder with the way he makes these big splashes with his moves... its retarded if you ask me.

i shame is i like tebow and had hoped he would do well in denver... john elway btw is a douche as well and is still the same entitled tool that refused to go to indianapolis. fuck him, he will fail miserably.

however on the bright side as i really cant stand sanchez, chances are pretty good now that he will actually have a season ending injury falling off his couch...

Joe Namath just said on the Michael Kay Show he thinks the Jets did it for PSL'S sales.
