Seems hard to believe that the Jets would sell out and the Giants can't. I read just today that the Jets only now have sold enough seats to avoid blackouts..not sure how many that means.
Seriously dude, STFU. It's not that bad up there. Quit trying to hawk PSLs, it's getting ridiculous. It was one thing before Game A but I think most people now realize their seats are not so bad and the obvious fact of not being held to a PSL trumps sitting downstairs.
rojf is like a sales rep, putting the upper deck down saying how high it is.trying to separate you from your money to buy a PSL.funny in the beginning started to wear thin.now he is just old news. rojf psl talks = favre retirement talks stfu
(Full Disclosure: In addition to two LLEZ seats, we own two UDSL seats.) For blackout purposes, the "club" seats don't count towards a sellout. From what I can tell, it appears the Jets have sold out substantially all of their PSL seats in the lower bowl and all of the UD seats. Are there non-Club PSL seats available in the lower bowl? Yes. Are there UD seats available? Yes. But the numbers are not so large that Woody and the Jets cannot ensure there is no sellout. As for UD seats, the Jets have a huge advantage over the Giants. While Giants UD STH's had to pay a PSL, the Jets UD STH's did not. I could care less if the Jets sell individual game tickets in the upper rows of the UD. Nobody in those section got hurt b/c they didn't pay for a PSL. At most, they got were hurt by having to pay for PS games. BUT, STH's got the best seats in the UDEZ, UDSL, and UDP sections. Selling the leftovers in the UD is not unfair. If the Jets start selling individual game seats in the PSL sections, that would be a problem. I suspect the unsold seats in non-Club PSL sections will be given to sponsors and/or offered for sale to current PSL holders and STH's only.
No kidding. Comments like that one are pretty obnoxious. Save'm for your BIL. I came away disappointed with my seats in row 8 301 were higher up than I thought they'd be. Just hoping an exciting season makes up for it. Have to say, if I had to decide today for next year, I'd give them up, but I know not to judge so soon. I expect the Giant fan who paid a PSL for these same seats will be sad Saturday.
That would be awkward but you might never know. They could just sell them on StubHub and who would know it was them? Giants are selling theirs on ticketmaster for what I would guess is much the same reason. You won't ever know just how many they have left.
dead head pot smoking left wing liberals may not understand an 82,500 stadium selling seats via a static season ticket pricing model that have a secondary value that is a Dynamic pricing model where each game and each seat has a different actual market rate seat price that changes throughout day based on variables. That include known knowns, Know Unknowns and the ever present "black-swan" that can affect values. Seat value is also dependent on financing rate you paid, lost opportunity costs and fees paid to buy/sell tickets to determine if the seat you purchased is a good value. You really need to do a solid number crunching a few years down the road once we have historical loss information and a solid P&L on a individual seat basis to determine who got the best deal. I am guess, row one 2.5k PSL or row one UD Prime between 40's might be the winners. For now the ticket re-sellers I spoke to are only confident "movie-star" seats may work out. If it ain't a show-stoper seat in the under 20K or UD sections with a ticket price under $140 the jury is still out on long term value. This is from professionals with no ties to Jets who pay through nose for historically pricing information and use their own models to assign probalilities to profitability on tickets they purchase. But oh yea but you said while lifting your head from toking your bong that UD is a good investment. Meanwhile IVY League NFL and Jets front office with loads of exprerience, data and software mining tools could not even determine the correct PSL or ticket prices to charge. Bottom line how much you like the seat you are in or the view it is 100% irrelevant if you got a good value. Personal perception does not impact actual outcomes.
A buddy of mine went for two Gyros, and after they prepared them they said they were out of white sauce. White sauce! The staple of a gyro. You gotta have white sauce! That's like no ketchup for french fries. Hot Dogs? no mustard... So my buddy refused them and would not pay and stormed off. Gotta try the Pork Sandwich - by that you mean the Taylor ham stand I saw? I'm curious about all the pepper and egg sandwich stands. Jets and Giants made it seem as if that's some local staple, but I've been here all my life and never eaten one. Is that like a breakfast sandwich on a round hard roll?
More important they have a taylor ham stand and a pepper and egg stand but no taylor ham egg and cheese sandwhiches? WTF
lol. I'm actually rather conservative in my views and not 100% the dead head, pot smoking, liberal you have figured me to be. Although I enjoy smoking the good ganja, I don't lean too far to the the left. I do not recall stating that any ticket purchase was a good investment. To be honest dude, other than the sheer joy of watching my team play the greatest sport in the world live, my season tickets have been and always will be a POOR INVESTMENT. You see, I travel 400 miles round trip for every home game and I attend EVERY home game* regardless of the "resale" value of that game. You know, A REAL JET FAN. * I do not attend every pre-season game.
Guy is clearly a ticket broker, not a fan. He called the stadium Giants Stadium earlier today in this thread for crying out loud. Just ignore him and the next time the Jets have a losing season you can take some solace knowing that this guy is taking a bath or, god forbid, actually forced to attend the games.
Of course I called Giants, guy I work with uses my pre-sale code to flip tickets and go to a few games. This year Giants are giving PSL holders first shot and your PSL account number is pre-sale code. So no more free Giant money. Every Jets season ticketholder is part scalper. They make me buy ten games even though I can't make redskins, holloween, thanksgivng or Bills game. And I want to sit in UD for one or two games with other family members. I actually was the most blatant, anti PSL person in the world from my join date till around early spring 2010. Once they lowered the seat price and did no money down then kicked my PSL payment out till 2011 did I join bandwagon. Lucky for me I got Tia Tequila seats after Woody kicker her out. I am the self-proclaimed number one Jet Fan in the world. In fact it was on wikipedia until someone realized I posted it myself. If you saw my kodak pictures a couple of posts ago you would realize that the Jets put me up there on same level as Fireman Ed, You better respect me or when I make back-up alternative NFL replay specialist for Jets one day I will let some fuzzy replays show on the big screens to get back at you all.
