So, at what point will they make the "electronic delivery" option on the Jets account page available?
I am off next week until after the Jets/Giants. However, my friend the SVP at Pepsi true to his word is letting me on the field for warm ups and to party with the Pepsi people. I will post all the on-field shots when I get back. I think it will be interesting to take pictures with same zoom on lense of LL, Mez UD ets to see how far from field it really is and what it looks like for the players. Klecko and Namath will be at the ring of honor thing and mulling around so I will get some shots of them and maybe the nice shot of Woody. I think it is important for the Jets number one fan and long term supporter, ROJF to be there on opening day, my thread count alone should make it there. Oh yea I now have to end every post with Drink Pepsi and I have to name my next child "Coke Sucks" but it is worth it. BTW Madbacker Prime is actually me!
I promise, come 5 pm today I won't be able to post till after Jet/Giant game. I won't be near a pc. I have my tickets, parking pass and everything set to go. So there is nothing left to do except go to game. I have never been to new stadium so should be interesting. Back at work Tuesday after the game. According to 227 I will hate my seats. I promise to be honest if I hate them. But I doubt it as I hated 228 last year, too far up. Jets said when your ass touches your seats on opening day they are yours for good. Well my ass is getting ready to touch my seat for a 30 year commitment so they better be good. .
One thing I won't miss is the fabrication, intentional misrepresentation and distortion of others' remarks. I never said such a thing! I never said anyone would "hate their seats." As far as the old Section 228, Row One, you are dreaming if you think anything in the new stadium comes even close to that terrific view. Close enough to the field to feel like you're not removed, yet up just high enough to take in all the action on the field. Best of both worlds. I know you haven't been to the new stadium, so I'll let you reserve judgement until you return. But there can be no serious comparison between Row One Mezz and ANY seat in The New Mausoleum Stadium, "Coaches Club" included. Not even close.
I don't even think he has tickets. He posted numerous different locations saying they were his. According to him he might even own Giant tickets too. Some mental institution must have allowed internet access.
Well, they do allow inmates to make unlimited phone calls from prison. Perhaps the Psychiatric Ward at Greysone Park allows patient use of the internet too.
Hate is a "paraphrase" you said the lower levels are not steep and the seats in first few rows have a bad view. If that is the case I will hate my seats. I hated the view from my 228 row one seats. I loved the ease of getting in and out, I loved the cover, I loved the short trip to bathroom and concession. However, never felt a part of the game. No one in front was nice but way up i air and I ended up sitting on my ass way too much as I had no reason to stand. those seats were like watching the game on TV. Those seats were like 20 yard line, I could only imagine how bad Mezz A is. I hate UD too, people sitting there with little TVs and radios so they can see and hear the game. Sure first ten rows betwen the 40's are pretty good, but I could not get them. I don't like endzone seats as don't like looking at back of players and don't like poles in my way. Plus play never really happens in front of you. Of the 82,500 seats in the stadium based on price and view only around 60 seats met my needs. In the end I was offered lots of amazing seats by sheer calling a lot and the fact with dymanic inventory things pop up and down and it is first come first seved not by senority in PSL world. Finally, I found the perfect pair for me, even though lots of others would say they suck. I revealed my seats to a 1992 ticket holder in a crappy UD seat and he went balistic on me. Crazy. I said you too can call every day till one pops up, he was like that is BS I based in senority I should not have to call. That was first and last person I told seat info too. 227 got amazing seats now and he is not giving out locations. There are a lot of nuts out their who want to steal your seats. Anyone in UD with senority higher than 227 who has worse seats will jump on 227 like the guy jumped on me. I say playa play on. I don't hate the playa, if you have seats better than me God Bless you. I never thought I would get best seats out of 82.500 and if I meet the guy who got them I am buying him a beer.
My experience has been, the more you call, the more annoyed the rep(s) get, and thus the least likely they are to help you. Why the hell would any rep entertain someone calling as often as you claim you have? That makes no sense to me, and I have a very hard time believing this. You're like the mouse wanting a cookie; why would they give you a cookie, when they know you'll then just ask for a glass of milk? When I was asking simple questions like, "what seats do you have in X section", I was getting incredibly vague one-word answers time after time. But somehow you got bumped to better seats on a regular basis? You say this because you are willing and have (seemingly endless) time to play the game. The game suits your personality. Most fans don't, nor should they have to play a game positioned to screw them.
So, I called earlier to ask when they'd be emailing me the return FedEx shipping label ans was told "it will be in the box". Of course, it wasn't. Now they're jerking me around, telling me someone will get back to me. Honestly, WTF is so hard about sending an email? I also asked when the online e-ticketing feature would be available in our Jets Accounts page, and was told probably Monday. Though, that might have been a lie as well. FYI...
The mouse in that kids book "if you give a mouse a cookie" got everything he wanted. The kid got played.
