it really is amazing when the simple things that are the most important get screwed up. but the guys making the decisions are a part of the paying public.

rofl what does the bil think about using the new car?

it would be a shame but i could definitely see it happening to a certain extent it already is with the outside "fan zones" and the breaking up of the tailgates. its a quiet but powerful move that they hope will not cause too much tension or it will just be tension amongst the true hardcore fans.

honestly i think the time may have already passed to make a stink about it. but once they make an announcement it will definitely be too late. whether it be just calling up and bitching to the sales guy that you have heard and are not happy or starting a facebook page called no assigned parking at jets stadium and get as many people as you can to sign up and complain then send em the link... which i would assume they would find anyway, then again these are the same guys who put escalators and stairs in the stadium in the fashion that they did.

Row one , what time do you get to games? I get there early and never ever have a hard time getting a spot,,,our BBQs are rite behind our cars / trucks so we don't take up any extra spots,,,,we bring garbage bags and throw all our stuff be it bottles/ cans/ or plates/ food away---------also I always take my truck or Van ( both fairly new ) and I never ever had a proplem with them getting "banged up " but I guess that can happen in any lot even your local mall. We always tailgate in the same spot, we have done so for years now, and I can say that I pretty much know the guys tailgating on both sides of us as they have also been there for years.
PS there is nothing wrong with a burger or dog but as far as the food we eat , there is nothing inside that we don't eat outside--I mean whats better than ribs, shrimp or how about lobster tails and steak ? As I have said before NOTHING like tailgating---if it gets disrupted my next decision is an easy one I bail out on my tix and watch at home in the man cave.

I like to get to game 20-30 minutes ahead of time when I take train!! Two or three tall boys and a pretzel and in I go.

However, when I drive I have to get there way early which is a pain in the butt. However, for Jets/Giants game I am actually tailgating with multiple cars so I will be one going all Chuck Norris if someone tries to move my BBQ and coolers!!! Watch out Fireman Ed, ROWONEJET FAN is taking your job as number one fan and I plan on being number one tailgater too!! Well for only one preseason game anyhow. Neighbor has one of those weird big vans with Jets stuff all over it so I may have all my people park next to him and me.

Today I got yet another phone message urging me to call back and hear about the "exclusive promotion for our upper bowl season ticket holders".

I hope it stops it's getting annoying.

Anyone see the NY post article with the blurb that suite holders were notified we will be getting the Thanksgiving night game? Might just be a rumor but still. I'm a teacher so the first game int he new stadium on a Monday night at 7 pm is awful since it's hard to call out sick the 4th day of school and Thanksgiving I"m single but I can see my dad not wanting to go early to tailgate for that one either. Might be good with assigned lots since that way you aren't screwed out of your normal lot. Not sure how this will all work out but if I'm in 346 I hope they keep me in lot 13 where I have been since 1991.

Guys like you are the reason they built that snazzy new club in the stadium. You need to be part of a true good tailgate, week in and week out to really enjoy the benefits of it.

Oh, and don't park your old car next to our tailgate. Hate for you to bring the real estate down.

so it doesnt matter if your fan base is in the the good seat or even in the stadium as long as the seats are sold....

    fucking ridiculous

    Shocking Upper Deck News!

Straight from Front Office. 227 take bullets out of your gun first.

"We won't be doing seat relocations in Upper level, until late summer. We are doing the upgrade period for two more months or so"

Jets are now tempting UD people to move down for next few months. Which means UD people pay for their bad seats by April 15 and then sweat it out to see if Jets do right thing, that stinks.

BTW my posse to tailgate is 7 family members, 4 neighbors, 6 friends and 7 people at work who have Jets tickets. None are regular tailgaters and most only got tickets last year or this year. I am going to cop a squat on day one in a good spot and claim it as my own to tailgate.

BTW Jets are right about 6k and 7.5k sections being almost sold out. As of today under 20 seats were left in 6k and 7.5k sections. However, with no one new going to Endzone seats and people relocating out they just created a new black hole. Lot harder to sell a 35 row between the uprights seat for 5k that it is to sell a row 15 aisle seat on the ten yard line for 7.5k.

Jets are playing a game of chicken with Upper Deck EZ people row 20 and above. Would not be surprise come June they sell better seats to new people and stick people where they are, they did it last year.

Jets basically did 100% turnaround in upper deck relocations this week.

Your fan base to Jets anyhow is who buys PSLs. Bunch of commission whoring PSL reps are making the calls. Betcha tons of sidedeals are going on. For instance I saw a few ticket broker sits start listing goal line seats right after price reduction. Do you really think ticket broker bought ten PSLs in 6k and 7.5 sections without a side deal he would get him a few really good upper deck seats in seat re-location. PSL reps want to sell seats.

..Did some rep tell you ??
    or
..Do you have access to actual sales results ??
    or
..Is this just your opinion ??

It would be very logical IMHO for Woody to give "bulk" buyers of PSLs some sought of deal that would not be offered to the "normal" STHers PSL purchaser
