bud light corner,i would have taken a picture of the pepsi corner but it had giants stuff on the jumbotrons. also look at the open air that is under that scoreboard.it is like thta in all 4 corners [/IMG]
this is the corner concourse of 345,&346 see how open the concourse is....when you where cold you used to be able to warm up in the concourse.how in the world will these concourses be warm in december??? 2 escalators are located directly to the left of this supposed concession stand.
Haven't seen this posted- http://www.examiner.com/x-779-New-York-Jets-Examiner~y2010m3d9-New-York-Jets-news-and-notes
and april 10th they are suppose to have a lacrosse game???? the field is done but the underbelly like the concession stands, the clubs and the west wing lounge non of that is close to being ready.
how long are the tours going on for? I have 2 tickets in 347 but it seemed as if they only want me to take a tour to try and convince me of upgrading still.
truthfully i walked away more pissed than i was before. i traded in a sideline 40 yard line upper for a corner end zone upper upper legroom the same cost is $15 more per tix concourse is open traded in spirals for STAIRS!!!!!! if you walk in on this great hall on the west side called the 50 yard plaza, escalators only go up to the back of the lower level.you would have to walk up STAIRS the rest of the way to the mezz or the upper deck. i mentioned this to my rep and asked if i brought my 65 year old uncle and he had to walked this he would have a heart attack.there is no other way from the entrance except the stairs.BULLSHIT the escalators are doubled together and stacked on top.so you ride from ground level to back of the lower level.then walk 100-200 feet back to the next escalator.there is 4 different escalators to reach the upper level. the upper deck coridor has a stair case on each side that wraps around the wall and goes up to the seats rows 8 and up. the middle has a ramp to rows 5-7 or the handicapped section.now i found these staircases to be narrow and will be tough for 2 people to use at once.especially going up holding 2 beers and a tray of food and maybe a child, while other fans are trying to come down. i wish i would have taking a picture of this but for some reason i was more concerned with getting pictures for 227 and pats-hater. i should have taken a picture of my legroom which was zilch and these stair cases.
Thanks for the great info. I think I will skip the tour, I get the feeling it will just piss me off. I can't beleive the corridors are open air, it will probably be windier there then the seats. And the leg room, escalators and stairs, all the things I was hoping improved in the new place, are not going to make me happy. 17A, when we play a close game and everyone leaves at the same time, is it going to take us 15 minutes to get out of that place? Sounds like the end zone will be the best place to exit from the UD.
first thing i said to my guy when i sat down was,"where the fuck is the legroom?" i thought they where gonna extend it.there is no chance of anyone getting past me without me standing up.the aisle row arm rest actually lifts up and down for an extended set for fat asses like joannyd.
Excellent report oh exalted thread-starter. Crap. The escalator situation seems to be just what I feared when I complained about it and began asking Q's two weeks ago. I think it will take a long time to get in and out. The leg room seems to vary from spot to spot judging by the other pictures posted here, and your report. Maybe it's tighter in the corners. I don't remember it being an issue in the EZ though it was not as much room as there seemed to be in the photo someone posted here. Nice photos from the seats too. When I was there it was windy as hell in the concourse only in the West EZ, though once in my seats, no wind at all. The stands blocked it out. This will vary, I assume, depending on the wind direction.
i was also informed that bothe teams will be coming out of the locker rooms on the jets sidelines side.but the visiting team will be coming out of section 104 (Bud Light Corner)and the Jets will be coming out of 123 (MetLife Corner)
Thanks for the info 17a. If i'm on the UD sidelines, can't I just walk over to the escalator to go up and down? Please don't tell me that anyone on the UD sidelines has to use the stairs.
Giant fans who paid for a 5k psl to sit in upper deck prime are going to be pissed, sounds like a wind tunnel and lots of steps. 17a pictures does make upper deck look pretty good but hard to tell from a picture and hard to tell when there is no one standing on field. http://www.newmeadowlandsstadium.com/3_your_gallery_photos.php?section=finishing-field-ceremony these pictures of people on field give good idea of view up to seats.
