You dodged a very nasty bullet, my friend. That PSL would have been a financial burden to you for a very long time.

And look at it this way... what's the worst that you've done to yourself? You are in seats that you can walk away from any year you want to without penalty of any kind. Afraid you won't ever have the chance to buy another PSL? Think again... they'll be all over the internet 13 months from now. So, you've lost nothing in reconsidering your original, financially catasphrophic decision and still have all the options available to you.

Thank you 227. You've been so right on this whole PSL BS. What pissed me off is that looking back, all those years of seniority were worthless. For the 20+years of tix we have since the mid '80s, all it got us was a 5 yard line mid teens row Uppers (vs someone off the street who can get a corner or EZ Upper).

My opinion and prediction is that by casting aside extremely loyal and long-time devoted fans like yourself in favor of the new guy "off the street," as you say, Woody Johnson has unwittingly acquired a different ticketholder... a much more fickle and demanding Wall Street-type ticketholder, whose loyalty span is less than a NY minute and whose tolerance for any kind of losing season pain is as short-lived as his tolerance for his next coke-snorting girlfriend who expects him to fund her habit but refuses to put out for him.

I'm afraid this owner has made a terrible decision in assuming the NY Jets fanbase is a NY Giants fanbase. The unbelievable support that the NY Jets fanbase has shown over the course of 41 losing years is an absolutely incredible record and bears witness to how much the old Jets fanbase could endure and tolerate while still rooting for this team. By casting those people aside and ignoring their wishes as if they were chicken shit, this owner has made a catastophic miscalculation in what his support really is in the NY area.

Mark my words, this has been a debacle of gargantuous proportions and is not over yet. The NY Jets fans and ticketholders have demonstrated that they don't want to be treated this way and it is now backfiring like there's no tomorrow.

    Fuck You, Woody Johnson.

227 I am afraid that you are correct! I don't know what the JETS were thinking ? I mean they are so concerned with the lounges and clubs and yada yada that they forgot what we the real fans care about--THE TEAM and whats happening on the field! We all got phone calls from Rex before that Patriot game,, and we all got game balls and we all got a phone call from Rex thanking us for "being electric " in the crowd the nite of the Bengal game but now we will have a totally different crowd---the home field advantage that we always wanted may now be much different then the Jets thought it would be? I mean yeah we will "now have a place to call our own " but at what price?

Agree with you 100%. He's a "money first" kind of guy. May his daughter rest in peace but even she wouldn't speak to him which tells you something about him.

Only good thing about this new stadium is he has been forced to spend money on legit players. My concern is when he sells out the place in a few years that he goes the cheap route again like in 2003 and 2007.

Woody is a money first guy. In fact those great UD 20/20 seats between the 20's row 20 or lower were "sold" to a lot of folks.

Sold being my BIL who is an 86 ticket holder was told months before he got called for UD seats that if he wanted to guarantee a pair of good UD seats he should buy a pair of club PSLs today and they would give him a pair of good UDs. If he could mind-read he would have bought a pair of EW corners and two UD 50 yard line tickets, but back then EW has a $400 tickets

Sorry buddy, didn't mean to remind you. I was thinking you had already dumped them. I think your price will come back after the cheaper seats get sold and we get closer to the game. As the quantity dwindles, the price will go up and you might actually make a profit on them.

I had my eye on a pair of Upper Sideline seats at $2250 last week. Those same seats are still for sale for about $1850 now. I was going to pull the trigger on them Big Time on Sunday afternoon right after the game.

Had the Jets won, your tickets would be $2500 right now and climbing and my sidelines would have been 3 Grand.

So you are trading in your green and white for a fucking blue attire? WTF is going on here? I don't get it.

Somehow I'm missing how you went from going to a Jets Superbowl at all cost (which I can totally understand, believe me...) to going to Fort Fucking Liquordale to attend a... well.... to attend, basically, an AFC-NFC showdown. Who TF cares who is in the fucking thing because it sure as hell isn't the Jets? Am I understanding the logic around this? Inquiring minds want to know, and they want to fucking know now!

By the way, I still have not received my mini game ball BS from Woody and his minions.

    17a- did you receive yours?
    227- what about you?

Maybe its not those that didn't buy a PSL, its those that bitch about the situation.

Maybe they are hacking the site and stealing personal info in order to shut down those that disagree with their draconian ways?

My son received ours because I made the one time change to my account to transfer the tix into my son's name. At first I didn't know he received it because he didn't call to tell me so, but yes, we received our ball.

And no, I did not buy a PSL. If you're a STHer, I don't understand why you never received one.

I got my game ball also a few days before the Colts game. My neighbor got his the same day. It must be based on where you live or something.

As far as Super Bowl goes my friend at halftime hit the panic button and bought his SB tixx on stubhub. With fees cost him $4300. I told him to wait till the end of the game bad luck but he did it and sold them for $3000. Took a bath of $1300.

OMG... not cool at all. This is why I was waiting... I'd rather pay $1300 more if they spiked after the game (but at least be going) than lose $1300 that way.

I actually had my eye on a pair of Upper Sidelines... they were over near the corner though.. like the 10 YL, for about $2250 each. Earlier this week they were still for sale and it looked like they were cheaper by $400 or so. At halftime I was like, "Honey, we're going to the fucking Superbowl, I kid you not!" And she got all excited. Then the 2nd half started and I'm like, "WTF is going on here?" Peyton Manning was untouched and found his rythm and started carving the turkey.

I still say some of those throws he made couldn't be duplicated by anyone else that consistantly... not even by himself probably, if you were to play that game 5 more times and make it 17-13 at the half. That plus losing Shonn Greene and we were fucked.
