Update on Current Inventory of Jets Seats This is right from Jets rep. UD completely sold out Coaches and $195 e/w club corner sold out Jets side, Lower goal line and EW Lower goal line started moving at a good pace since the first play-off win. Visitors side row 10 and up lower level 15k and 20K slow moving, EW Club Prime and Sideline slow moving. 4k and 5k PSLs slow moving, less amount of desirable seats have more people trading up to 10K lower goal line and 7.5K EW goal line.
I contacted a rep and gave them my account number and they assured me one would be sent out. Everyone can try that-
Most "real" Jet fans went to the game. I know this is some kind of failed money making venture for you though.
Sanchize prime call up and ask yourself, got it via review of live inventory. The ny times already said coaches is sold out and Jets already said $195 and UD was nearly sold out before last sunday. No big secrets here, bottom line if you think Jets will win superbowl and PSLs are going to be worth something a 10K LL PSL close to the 15K PSL is a good value. The ticket is only 5K more than LL EZ and ticket is just $20 dollar a game more, yet secondary market that ticket will be worth a lot more. They had row 7-10 left near 15K seats while the 5K EZ has all the good ones gone already.
I have 4 seats this year, and there is one of me. Even if I went to 100% of games and took a few friends I still had a lot of tickets to sell. 30 extra tickets. I already know I can only make 4-5 games next year and I have a pair. So what, most of my friends make it at best to 3-7 games the Jets are the ones selling season tickets. If they let me buy only the games I want to see I would have done it. BTW I did not lose money. I gave a pair to charity, took a few people, sold a few pairs at face to a friend and then sold some for a profit to strangers via stubhub to cover tickets I gave away. What am I supposed to also give away tickets to strangers, bad enough I am nice enough not to charge friends. My UD EZ tickets are worthless in secondary next year. If I bought a PSL they would have to be seats where I can make a bit of a profit on the seats I can't use to help cover the damm PSL fee. Otherwise what is the point.
I do not have live inventory. The rep I know did a query. Is there are any UD seats, coaches or $195 seats left? Is so why aren't they selling them anymore?
I'm sure the Jets have been getting more calls with interested people. While they have people captive, it would make sense to tell them that the cheapest sections are sold out and they need to buy a PSL in an expensive location or be locked out. But when push comes to shove and the person walks away, a rep can call back and say that an upper "just became available" if you buy right now
I'm shocked that you would think that Jets "sales representatives" would stoop as low as to resort to used car tactics. ShamWow and SlapChop maybe, but that kind of sleezy salesmanship? Why, whatever would have given you that impression?
Just an update. I have upper deck Non-PSL seats for the 2010 season but not in my name. They are a friends and I buy one seat from him. Anyway, I signed onto the waiting list in my name last week for AFC Championship tickets if they happened to become available to non seasons ticket holders. Well Baltimore lost Saturday killing the idea of hosting an AFC Champoinship game. Low and behold I recieve a voice message on Monday, 1/18, a Federal Holiday, from a Jets ticket rep attempting to sell me PSL's for next season. I didn't take the call but suspected when I signed on for the Title game tix that this was a scam leading toward PSL lane. I'm sure he will call again in the near future. Anyone else get this call?
I did tell rep I was speaking to I wanted to add two tickets in UD while still keeping my current two tickets in UD, if he had sideline available. He tried to get me to buy a 7.5 and 10K PSL which I did not. UD high row EZ seats do pop up now and again by people who trade them in for a PSL. The good seats in UD are not popping up. In fact if I had two row 20 or lower UD sideline tickets and wanted a PSL I would keep my old seats upstairs even after I bought a PSL. I talk about tickets a lot cause I had four seats this year in my name, next year I have two in my name next to cousin who has two in his name and near my BIL who has three in his name. All three of us go to like half the games. Therefore, that is 7 seats for five games for sale each year just among my family. Why do we all have tickets, well we all want play-off rights and superbowl rights and if I want to take my whole family at once I need five tickets, big tailgate with friends I may need 7, I can swap with family. In fact I am taking whole family to one-preseason and cousin is taking whole family to other pre-season. Yea I could go in with cousin, but then come play-off time and superbowl it would be a PITA. My scalping days are over, as UD EZ Jets tickets are worthless, I plan on taking family and if lucky when I take a friend he will buy me some beers. But at $950 a season ticket with no PSL who cares. Other thing to note I asked Jets yesterday if Jets win superbowl and have a good run again in 2010 will Jets PSL upper deck like Giants did. He said they thought of that but they ruled out doing a PSL for anyone in already, they would be grandfathered. The only way they would ever do that is for new season ticket holders and that is unlikely. Therefore anyone between the 20's below row 20 in UD just got the deal of a lifetime. Great seats for life with no PSL.
